Hi! I've signed for a post-grad job as an Implementation Analyst and I'll be traveling weekly for work. I really appreciate these videos. I was wondering if you could go more in-depth on what your regular diet usually looks like/consists of when traveling? Like I saw in I think another one of your videos how you uber eats for dinner but like what are your pro tips on where to order from/what to order? Or even like what to grab when eating breakfast at the hotel?(sometimes the hotels options can seem not great)

Hi Isabelle!! Congrats on your new job, that sounds like an amazing opportunity🎉Full transparency I don’t feel like i ever got into a great eating / diet routine while on this project. I was super lucky to be in Tampa since there were plenty of healthy restaurants / a variety of grocery stores in the area, so I was able to eat well each week without meal prepping or planning out my meals. Lots of hotels have good breakfast options especially once you start reaching higher levels of status, so staying consistently at one hotel brand will help a ton for complimentary breakfast options and for the opportunity to get upgraded to suites with kitchenettes in them so you can make your own food each night. Depending on your location and the maximum hotel rate that your project lets you book at will all determine the options available to you! People on my project also successfully meal prepped before each week as you’re able to bring food with you on the plane, so that is always an option as well! Hope this all helps :)

hi! the type of consulting i do is dependent on the project / role I'm assigned to so it varies quite a bit, as every project (especially at the entry level) can be very different. I'll definitely be making a video very soon regarding what my job is like / pros and cons of working in this field :) if you have any specific questions definitely let me know as I'll note them when filming!

How are you handling your consultant work/travel now that we are in this current COVID-19 Crisis?

Everything aside from travel is pretty much the same (thankfully!). I’ve been on two projects since the travel bans started and both of which I’d be travelling for on a weekly basis (as far as I know), so remote work has allowed me to slow down a bit and live a bit more presently which has been incredible. The only major negative that I’ve experienced with working entirely remotely (esp when in consulting) is that when starting a new project or joining a new team, it’s more difficult to get to know everyone/build rapport when you’re not seeing them in person everyday.

This is so unnecessarily dense - if I'm at the clients site (depending on the industry/company of course) the last thing I should be doing is filming for my youtube video. There's a serious risk of exposing confidential information, and simply put, the client did not fly me out so that they could be a prop in my video. I should not be focusing on capturing office b-roll when I am on-site. This video is a literal work week in my life aka shows what my life was like during a traveling work week. Luckily most viewers can safely assume that this video shows 99% of life outside work (which includes precisely everything you mentioned above). For viewers who leave comments with this same sentiment, you simply cannot be serious lmao
