Current, according to KBB, Private sale $21,900 at 98,500 current miles. 2013 Tacoma Pre Runner (I know, shut up) TRD Sport. Bought for $26,500 in late 2016 with 40,000 miles. She came with front grill/brush guard, chrome side steps, soft tonneau and Katskin leather seats. I love her (beside the black paint).

I shopped around and Carvana was only going to give me $180, but any other 2015 Tacoma DCSB Magnetic Gray Metallic would be right about $24,500. Other places I looked would give me close to $24,500 as well but apparently rebuilt title is a no-go for Carvana.

I got my TACo at the end of April 2021 for 😬🤘 (don't care)35k but w/gap, warranty shit blah blah, all said & done 39k. She had 70k on her exactly when I got her. (81k now....stupid work).It's a 2013 TRD Offroad DCSB. MURDERED out. Lifted. 8" Alpine Touch screen w/two amps & it bangs!! (Pantera sounds bitchin'). American Outlaw rims. CAI. Flowmaster dual exhaust. Custom grill w/ light bar. I wanted it for 30 years & she was perfect for me. Perfect. I will also be buried in her. TACo's FOREVER!!

I just bought a '14 Tacoma TRD Offroad all stock with 88k miles in great condition for $26.5k. Def feel like i overpaid but I couldn't pass it up needing a vehicle. I regret selling my '93 Xcab 4x4, i don't regret buying this to riplace the ol jewel, and i won't be getting rid of this one anytime soon. lessons learned. never sell a nice Toyota. @@Tacomaholic Uni filter and AC drain redirect going on tomorrow. Start working on mini mods while saving up for a lift, tires and wheels. I'm interested in the Molle system for the bed and doing a tailgate plate just like you did with the grip tape. That came out really nice. Headlights, taillights and grille along the way. Thinking of finding some sliders just wide enough to use as steps with the flared rear. High clearance armor towards the end. Down here in south Mississippi most of the trails are mud holes so I'll stay clean for a couple years till the truck is ready to take a proper trip north a bit to enjoy the nice hilly country.

@@dml004 Nice! Most of the sliders I've seen can be used as steps if you are careful. Putting some grip tape on them is a good idea so they aren't slippery.

I bought a new Tacoma Double Cab TRD Off-Road in 2012 for just over $32,000. I only put 26,000 miles on it in 9 years and kept it in mint condition. I just sold it back to my local dealer for $28,500. They had it on their used lot for 3 days and sold it for $31,000. Now I just have to wait for some new inventory to start showing up.

Youre 100% right about the markups. I'm seeing 5-7k in "market adjustment"... I bought mine last week and paid zero markup... fully loaded TRD Off Road. DCLB. MSRP 46k.... I paid MSRP and got a couple extras thrown in for free (all weather mats and some other little goodies) and got free delivery I had to go about 300 miles in southwestern VA (but delivery was free, so I never stepped foot in the dealership)

Canadian numbers here: 2014 TRD Sport Double Cab V6 Automatic, 127 000kms, Great condition, well maintained Bought brand new at 56kms, single owner for about 49 000 CAD Auto trader says my trade in value is around 23 500, but I have seen Tacos with similar year and mileages selling for closer to 30/35 000

hello! i am going to purchase a new tacoma by the end of this summer but i’m looking now very hard…. im looking at the trd off road access cab or the trd sport access cab..now i’ve built them online and they usually run between 40 rp 42 thousand when im finished…looking online at dealers… some of the. have the msrp and an additional dealer. charge….but some dealers don’t have that charge..it’s between 3 to 5 thousand…so..it looks like like i will have to drive a couple of hours to not pay the dealer fee… i live in everett wa by the way… so that’s my plan..i’ll let you know when i buy or maybe even ask your advice…your channel is awesome and you have a lot of great info! thank you for that!

Time is your friend right now to buy one, our dealership doesn't markup on top of MSRP, but it would probably take 2-3 months to get one. It just recently got worse, cause Toyota took away our regions allocation (5000 cars), so October/November is going to be Terrible.

I bought my 2019 Tundra 1794 (pre-pandemic)…. At the time Toyota was offering either $3000 off sticker OR 0% finance for 5 years. Naturally, i said “i want both” and of course almost immediately denied me. Then i whipped out a cashiers check for $32000 and said “I’ll buy that truck Right Now” … they fizzed a bit and gave me $2000 off sticker (no dealer mark-ups) and 0% for 5 years and 4 years of “Toyota Care” typically 2 years. The sticker was $53500 .. if i decided to sell it now, I’d probably get what i paid for it.. even with the 25k mileage. The last of the 5.7 V8’s and it runs perfectly.. i think I’ll keep it. 👍

My 2022 TRD Tacoma is in and I'm considering buying it/ordering a 2022 sport limited to get exactly what I want and don't want. Used r more than brand new! Hell, I bought my 2011 FJ Cruiser TTE right before covid hit and now the prices skyrocketed for it. I got it for 19800 with 147000 miles on it at a dealership. Now its worth 1000s more depending on where you look. My father wants a Tacoma but at these prices hell no.

bought my 2016 Taco ltd 4x4 for 27k with 20k miles on it. It has nearly 60k miles on it now and I can sell it for about 33k according to common listings. Although I have done some modding as well. BA hybrid from bumper, chrome delete, de-badging, 17x9 method wheels with 33" nitto ridge grappler A/T tires, 3" total lift with Bilstein parts, prinsu cab rack, lighting, etc

Ive got a 2020 TRD sport Prem. double cab shorty MANUAL with only 15xxx kms. Guarantee i could sell it right now for more than i owe on it.. but WHY would i wanna do that?!?! No way im givin up this Beauty. and lets be honest, what would i buy instead? IMO there is no better truck than the taco.. maybe different packages over different years may have mild advantages, but theres no way you'd catch me selling My Taco and buying a Colorado, Ranger, Frontier or.........Ridgeline????

In may I bought a 2017 Tacoma sr5 super clean certified, with 32,000 miles with extended warranty with 32,000 miles for $30,000. They also gave $20,000 for my 2012 Ram which was at least $5,000 more than any other dealer offered. I am extremely pleased with the whole deal. How does that sound to you?

As I stated before, new subscriber and like what I see so far. A video I would be curious to see would be a video for guys like myself who are taking the "econo" route when it comes to buying a Tacoma. Is a 2021 2.7 liter double cab base model worth buying and the reasons you would purchase one along with the reasons you would want the V6 TRD Pro version. Me, I am a 50 year old dude that doesn't tow anything and I am not the guy that has to one up my neighbor so to speak with the 400 foot boat that I need to tow. I just need something to drive on an occasional dirt path to go hiking, put groceries in the back and maybe our body boards and that's it. I am such a basic dude. Give me 4 wheels, hub caps, gas and I'm good to go! Nice channel

In 2017 I sold my 2011 Tacoma fully loaded with all the aftermarket goodies. Full icon suspension stage five DeMelo off-road front bumpers. The point is I brought it to a dealership to see what they would give me for it. They offered me $18,000 and told me if it was stock they would’ve gave me 20,000. So I decided to put a for sale sign on it and stick it in a supermarket parking lot and it’s sold in four days for the price of $26,000. I was asking 28,000.
