I love time travel stories. So, it's only fitting that season 5 is my favorite. Desmond is special. We see it when Daniel disappears in front of him in this bright light. Desmond hears the noise that precedes it and then sees it. Unlike Ethan and Richard. The energy of the island creates the time shifts and Desmond has a unique relationship with the energy of the island.

as for me, time travel works very correctly and interestingly in this show and I'm sure you'll like it even more as the season progresses! and yes, this is not the main theme of the season, rather a plot tool, and that's good
