I love Pearl and X, both distinct and brilliant. I can’t wait for Maxxxine! I love the broad palette of characters and moods and feel of these films. Thank you for this!❤️

I love both X and Pearl, X slightly more because of all the themes and cast. I am very excited to see what journey Maxxxine goes on❤️

I love both X and Pearl, and I go back and forth on which one I prefer. I think Pearl is slightly more special to me with the Wizard of Oz feeling, but I really love all of the homages in X to classic slashers. Really looking forward to MaXXXine! Thanks for the recap :)

I can definitely see that Pearl would fall in the marmite camp of you love it or hate. Personally I loved it, maybe slightly more than X even. It was a visually stunning character study & Mia Goth was superb. I am excited to see MaXXXine! Thanks for the recaps!

From what I have seen online its getting mixed reviews but I personally am looking forward to watching it as a Model myself and someone who would like to explore doing motion picture I think we all kinda feel connected to the character of Maxxine in some way the desire for fame and to be on a world stage be recognised doing whatever it takes to get there like there is a Maxxine in all of us lol

Saw Maxxxine the day it came out and I gotta say I was pretty disappointed by the last section of the movie, the supporting characters were great for the little screentime they were given but it would’ve been lovely to see them more especially if they get killed off having built that attachment with them would’ve been awesome and make them sympathetic when they died it also felt as if Maxxxine was a bystander in her own movie with everything happening around her she felt VERY passive, I had high expectations for this film since I loved X and Pearl but the movie fell flat at the end, I think a couple more rewatches will make me rethink my opinion

I've been a long-standing Mia Goth fan so when x was released, I watched it and loved it. I am going to watch Maxxine on the 4th as the first screening Ive watched this summer,

i really loved X but when pearl came out I wasn't a huge fan because it was such a departure from X, however on rewatching pearl i have come to enjoy it more so I'm so excited for maxxxine

I think Pearl is the better made movie and I think at the time I rated it higher than X but for my personal tastes I much prefer X I do have a feeling that Maxxine will be my favourite of the three though

I have not seen either X or Peaerl but I agree I think I would like Pearl more only despite as unhinged and mentally insane she is you still kinda feel sympathy for her because she is a product of her circumstances

I found Pearl extremely disappointing, it’s just not for me at all. However, I do love this one and everything about it. High hopes for Maxxxine still, just not to high. lol Great video!

I loved pearl but only liked X. I loved Pearl's overacting, the campiness and that it was so colorful. Typically horror films avoid colorfulness in its look but it made the film stand out. I kinda feel this is going to be the whatever happened to Baby Jane of our times. I think drag queens will have a Pearl routine 50 years from now.
