I am getting tired of people who call you a misogynist as soon as you criticise something a girl has done, as if girls can never do anything wrong. I don't watch Twitch, I don't know anything about Pokimane except for some videos I saw about her here on KZfaq. What I can tell is that when I saw how she was shaming her viewers (and potential customers) for thinking that her cookies are too expensive, I never thought that this was bad because she's a girl. It's bad because it is true: for a lot of people, the price of her cookies is a bit much, especially when there are similar cookies that cost a lot less! Do we have to shut up and give her a pass just because she's a girl? Talk about equality but as soon as a guy says something about a girl, even for a legitimate reason, he's immediately called out for daring to criticise her!

Anyone out there dealing with addiction, depression. Hang in there and reach out, there's an army of people that fight daily and have been right where you're at, and are willing to help and pull you up, don't suffer in silence

While I completely disagree with Adin as an individual. I wouldn't wish deep deep depression upon anyone. No one should have to feel that deep hurt and emptiness. But that being said, it is an end result of his own actions. His own lifestyle that inevitably lead to that lonely point. I wouldn't want him to suffer, I can only hope it's an actual wake up to do something different be someone different. It's different refreshing hearing him talk about mental health being vulnerable. Be that example for a young audience to show change. To show personal growth and shed light on a serious topic. One can only hope.

As somebody who watched both Twitter situations happen in real time, Poki made tweets to people being rude and obviously getting upset but ended up deleting them so a lot of people don't have the full context of the situation. Not to mention the fact that people like Hassan, Ludwig and other sizable creators on Twitter came the bat for her when she was obviously in the wrong. She cant just brush off all criticisms as people being sexist because there are actual problems with the price.

the Adin situation is an interesting one for me personally. The inner fight going on between; wanting to take Adin serious for opening up about his mental health, and wanting to laugh in his face/continue to not care about him due to everything that has happened up to now. Call me harsh, but there comes a point in your life where you genuinely need to accept the responsibility and consequences for the things you've done and the vices you hold onto yourself.
