I had a 1980 it 250 2 stoke yamaha and several of thier streetbikes!

Thanks for the video. I have the same bike with the same issues. But the crank is locked up. I removed the cylinder and while the piston has been stuck in the past, it's not the cause now. So I'm about to take it apart. Thank you for taking the time to help others.

That suck about the crank. But you know splitting the cases isn’t all that bad.

bearings sound like poop. It is not that bad splitting the case.

Great video! Thanks for going into depth with each part. When replacing parts such as the crank seals, where do you get them from? Is it an eBay kind of job?

I have not bought seals yet. When I do I will try to let you know from where.
