About 5 years ago I got down to Collingwood in the City of Yarra on a stinking hot Tuesday morning to check out the new Garbage contract that was awarded to Four Seasons Waste. You will all remember my previous Yarra video showing a Hino rear loader I filmed in the very early days of the contract but over a year later I visited again to capture some more footage of the bigger Rear Loaders they were running. I got there nice and early and spent all morning riding around trying to locate something good to get on the camera. I was tipped off they were running a few older trucks in there and that was the reason for my visit. After finding a few Acco E5 Rear loaders, I kept riding and sure enough this beast came howling out of a side street and I had found what I wanted.
This truck was a bit of a surprise at first but looked like it had just started working in the contract since the paint work on the truck was still looking very nice. Here we have an old Iveco Acco Euro4 that's been given a facelift to make it look like the newer model Accos at the time but don't think you will ever see an Acco with Spider Rims and have the new Acco front on it. It may look out of place for some people but I reckon it suits it. Mounted on the back of the truck is an MJ JP5 body with Single lifters on the back but have been joined together. This truck was refurbished by Richards Coachworks and as always their work is great and it speaks for itself. I have added a photo at the beginning of the video so you can all see what the truck looks like from the front as I did not get any front shots of it on video.
I hope you all enjoy the footage, cheers to the awesome two blokes that were on the truck that day for letting me film. At the time of when I recorded this video, Visy was still handling the Recycling but not long after Four Seasons Waste picked up the Recycling contract. Enjoy!!! ;) ;) ;)
