This 30-minute cardio walking workout will strengthen your heart and cardiovascular system while building strength in your body overall. The exercises are done in 30 second blocks with 15 seconds of rest. It's about 2000 steps, more or less depending on your pace.
Perfect for seniors and beginners. This is one of our longer workouts so go at your pace, and rest if you need it.

Your videos are a real blessing for me. I am 80 years old, and I can't keep up with most of the walking videos I have tried. I've crippled myself up a few times, so I appreciate your encouragement to go at my own pace. I hope you are both in good health and able to enjoy getting around and about in the more relaxed atmosphere of 2023.

Happy 2023 April and Ika. I want to thank you. I am 73, have had some challenges of late. It is a blessing to have your workouts available on KZfaq. I love the mom daughter interaction. Last year I started the workouts with my mom. She is unable to continue to do so now. I added weights today and it was great. God Bless you🙏🏼💕💪🏼💃🏽

I'm 69 and have worked out at the gym five days/week for my entire adult life. But now that I have arthritis in my spine and hips I've had to change my approach to cardio. This low-impact session is fantastic for me. It doesn't cause me pain or injure me, and depending on how I feel each session I can speed up or slow down. Thank you so very much. This is a life changer!

I’m grateful for this channel because I’m a really obese 27-year old and haven’t been exercising for the past couple of years, so joining a gym/ going to a trainer feels wry intimidating. Going through these exercises helps me work up a sweat without becoming completely out for the count, and I’m hopeful that I can gently build up my stamina this way in order to prepare for more rigorous exercise in the (near) future. I’ve prepared a couple of playlists for myself, each containing your warm-up > one workout > cool-down videos so that it’s just a matter of me putting a playlist on and following it for my day’s routine. One video idea: you could speak on what sort of exercise schedule can be followed during the week (e.g. cardio on Monday, core exercises on Tuesday etc.) and suggest a corresponding video for each day. It could be an interesting playlist idea as well! I’m aware of your 7-day playlist, but this was more from the perspective of arranging your already-existing video library into some sort of order that can be followed day-after-day. I for sure could use that order to begin with! Thanks once again for this video, and looking forward to more content from you!

71 y.o. - Well, I've advanced to this 30 minute walk. Love that you had 10 - 20 & 30 walks. It allowed me to build up strength and learn the moves along the way. My next goal is your 40 min video. Love your mom (how do you spell her name?). She makes it okay to take breaks. You encourage them. However, she puts it in practice. I won't move from 30 min until I can manage the weights when u do. Thank you, April & Mom, for emphasizing that it is OK to move at our own pace. I've quit so many exercise attempts because I felt inadequate as I was unable to keep up with the group. Knowing it is OK to pause the video and rest a few extra minutes before continuing has helped me stick to an exercise routine. I found you all in October and have averaged 5 sessions a week since then. I've experienced a tremendous growth in stamina, strength, and stability. Thank you for these videos. (I've also lost 30 lbs - Yay!)

This is my favorite walking video and I start my day with it without fail. I like the variety of steps with measured time. I love the banter between the two of you so much and the thoughtful way you guide your Mom in her steps. At times, while following your directions, I almost feel like we are in actual same space and like you can watch my own activity. That is such a personal touch. I am so grateful to have found you. I am the same age as your Mom so I don't feel like I am age clumsy when I see her have a little trouble at times keeping up. I just love both of you. I would love it if you could make a session including rhythmical music to keep the steps to music and to have the length of the walk to get to 1 mile walk. Of course, if you do not make this for special request, your tapes are best of what I have found on line for people my age.

Thank you both. Love the lower and easier approach for us elderly folks. However, I have some suggestions that you may wish to incorporate: 1. Have all or most of you videos be comprised of half walking and half other exercise. Walking only represents about 20 seconds per minute currently. 2. Please consider adding weights while walking. We elderly do need to build up musculature and bone strength. It will also slow you down a bit because of the weights. 3. For the next 30 minute video, I would suggest at least one or two exercises for balance. This is also critical for elderly folks. Overall, keep up the good work. I think you will have lots of followers. There are many people who need a more gentle way to exercise.

Excellent intermediate workout with good info from you April as we go along: how different muscle groups are being worked on. Aware as I am of various ‘out of alignments’ in my body I just monitor what I can comfortably do . Thank you both. I’ve said about your other workouts, as many other of your followers are saying your affectionate and fun relationship together is wonderful. So happy I found this!!! I am almost mid 50’s but have chronic back and neck pain. After working 90 hrs weekly, just don’t have time or energy for the gym. Thank you so much!!! Maybe with this video daily and eating healthy, I can lose those 50 horrible pounds!! 🙌🏻🫶🏻

I'm 79 and recovering from a tibial plateau fracture. 6 months and I'm ready for more and varied exercise. This is perfect for combining the walking with cardio. I'm using small hand weights and feel very good after the 30 minutes.

So glad I found this! As a former runner (40 years) with a recent knee replacement, I needed something else to do besides bike and walk. This is a great way to stretch my knee out. I really like the side steps and the step/turn. Thanks!

Im not a senior yet quite yet either, but with 2 back surgeries these are so doable for me and the core strength exercises are just what the Dr ordered especially with our Midwestern winters when I can’t get outside all the time. I love this series of videos. It improves coordination, balance, strength also in the upper body. My step counter tells me that I moved 6287 steps during this 30 minutes workout.
