After practicing with you for several weeks now, using various videos, not only is my prolapse improving but i can sit cross-legged on the floor comfortably as i haven't been able to for years. thank you so much for your gentle, calm, encouraging virtual presence in my life.

I love these exercises. I'm 72 years old and have been doing gentle exercises and some yoga that made these exercises doable. I love your gentle voice and the pleasant music and the reminders to relax and to breathe. I saved this video because I intend to use it everyday.

I loved this! I was diagnosed with IC/pelvic floor dysfunction. I am working with an excellent pelvic floor physical therapist. This is such a nice complimentary routine to do in addition to the work I am doing with my PT. Thanks so much.

Oh, I can’t wait to give this a go 🙏🏻 I’m currently undergoing pelvic floor physiotherapy with the aim of relaxing and releasing my pelvic floor as it’s super tense (thanks, endometriosis and anxiety!) This seems like a really yummy, nourishing practice. And I love that your cat joins you for yoga 😄💕

Please do video on rectocele. To be honest your videos helped me a lot. I was doing them daily for 2.5 months my baby is 4 months now. I had all prolapse but now I only have rectocele as dr conformed. I got lazy and didn’t do workouts last 2-3 weeks but now I have prove that it worked. Please do rectocele workout. Thanks ❤️

This was wonderful, thank you so much. Do you have or know of any resources on pelvic floor dysfunction in relation to the piriformis muscle please? Your pelvic relaxation videos have done great things for my piriformis related sciatic pain, but as soon as I start trying to strengthen the pelvic floor with some kegels, it feels like the contraction tugs on/tenses the piriformis and aggravates it again?

Yes, the pelvic floor and piriformis are VERY closely related! I recommend going back to the release stretches to reduce your discomfort, and then when you try strengthening the pelvic floor again, do so more conservatively/slowly. For example, just 1-2 kegel exercises, and then breathe deeply and stretch. If not adverse reaction, then the next day try 2-3 kegels, then breathe deeply and stretch. It's so easy to "overdo!"

Could I ask which of your many core videos you might recommend in this kind of situation please, in order to make sure the core is 'helping out' and not leaving the tight pelvic floor or piriformis to keep everything stable. Look up physical therapy straps on Amazon. I have one with loops along the whole strap....

I don't recall where I got my strap, I've had it for ages! And I agree -- it's a great idea. I love it even more than my traditional one with the buckle!

I always have trouble / discomfort in yoga classes because of the weight bearing on my hands/fists and wrists. Even this one as I tried to relax my hands ached from holding the strap so long and resting on my hands in some of the moves. Any suggestions? I did modify some of them.

Definitely loop your hands around the strap as I show in the vid (so that you don't have to grip as hard), and try placing your hands on blocks or fists... you can also go down to your elbows in certain moves (or place your bent elbows on blocks to "bring the floor up to you"). Hope that helps!

Yin yoga is not intended to strengthen the pelvic floor, but it will help keep the muscle tissue healthy and lengthened (not overly contracted) and your joints healthy and aligned. Ultimately, this allows you to safely participate in pelvic floor strengthening exercises such as kegels, functional training/exercises, etc.

I think you made this video for somebody who has never done in yin yoga before. I have done lots of yin yoga and just frankly, you talk way too much. I can't relax deep into the pose with you constantly talking on and on and on and giving such detailed instructions constantly. Again, probably best for somebody who has never done yin yoga before and needs all that talking and instruction. Sorry, I've got to go back to Kassandra videos.
