I don't even know where to begin. I'm a 61 year old fat woman and a year ago I couldn't even approach child's pose without crying. Kneeling and sitting back on the heels has been painful for me my entire life, even when I was a skinny kid. Now, I can get into the child's pose and hold it for the allotted time. I even did a modified version of the toe squats, just being upright on my knees, but my toes were tucked under the entire time, stretching out and I held reverse prayer as well!! This is so much progress for me, I can't even express it. Since I discovered your yin yoga channel and joined your FB group, my practice has really come alive! Thank you so much for your continued dedication to bring us great classes and educate us in the beauty of yin! Blessed be!

Thank you, Kassandra. I have a lot of injuries sustained during my time in the military and from playing contact sports. For years now, I have limited myself to only doing weights in the gym because I can alter my workouts to cater for my injuries. However, this has caused my body to become so inflexible that it has added to my chronic pain, and I can hardly even do the beginner yoga poses. Your classes are helping me to undo some of this accumulative damage. I am grateful that you share your knowledge to help people like myself. Namaste.

Same here. Lots of old injuries and operations that caused inflexibility, and I have tried different yin yoga that were always uncomfortable and painful, so i was about to give up on yin yoga until this evening when I found your link. Thank you for offering yin yoga that is accessible and that is comfortable. WAY TO GO.

This sequence somehow relieved a pinched nerve in my shoulder that I’ve had for over three months. I’ve done other yoga practices before but somehow this did the trick! Thank you so much for making this.

Oh this was just what I needed. My back and hips hurt from being overweight and spending most of my time sitting, this was perfect. I'll definitely do more of these, I've enjoyed your other videos, very helpful as I get back into the practice after years away.

Thank you for posting this up. I’ve been doing the yoga thing for 16 months now, twice a week and at home. I find your online classes perfect for me and they really help with flexibility and relaxation. I am a 63 year old retired decorator who packed it in because I found certain physical aspects of the job getting beyond me. I now feel very much better, but no way am I resurrecting the brushes or papering ceilings again. I enjoy the feeling of fitness and wellbeing that yoga brings so a huge thank you to you.

This was amazing, it was my first time with Yin yoga and it's absolutely my thing, I love the stretch and relaxion, even though I had to skip those toe squats, my toes just couldn't handle it. I wish I had props to do all the other practices! The music was lovely.

Hi Kassandra. Just wanted to personally thank you for having such wonderful practices posted in KZfaq. I'm still struggling with the poses but im doing so much better now. And i've been following your Yoga tutorials from the start. Yours is the only Yoga video that i am able to religiously follow. You have concise and clear instructions. And the poses are really helpful. I wasn't a fan of yoga but that's changed considerably thanks to you. So, keep it up! PS i've been doing yoga daily for 8 days now. Yay! Stay safe!

Thank you for this. The toe squats weren't happening for me, but everything else felt great, if not a little painful at first. My back has been so tense and sore that the reclined pigeon and twist were the perfect answer.

I struggle with toe squats too because I had to have the ball of my right foot fused from overuse injury and arthritis. I always have to skip that plus do warrior one instead of crescent pose on my right side. It's frustrating when toe stretches come up in yin. I usually do what I can on left and fake it on right. Other than that I love yin and looking forward to trying this class this evening.

I began this class about 2 months ago after the suggestion of my doctor because my leg (from the knee to the hips) was hurting me. I'm doing that class every days and I can really see the improvement now, I'm not stretching as much as you but I do my best, thank you very much!

You are really a miracle ! You are saving my life now I am off work because I have too much tension in my body, the step before getting into a burnout. But doing your classes daily helps me recover. I have totally fallen in love with Yin yoga!! I primarily use it as a cool down;stretch after any traditional workout I may do. Please keep adding more full body 30-40 min Yin classes💕

I love your channel, Kassandra. Thank you so much for giving your gift through these videos. I have suffered from adrenal fatigue (now known as HPA axis dysfunction) and at times even yoga signals stress hormones into my blood. But yin yoga is so gentle and so peaceful. When I first came across one of your videos I was immediately struck by your mastery and inner attainment. You are very present which helps those of us following each pose. And I love the background sounds you play which help me center in my heart and find that peaceful place. Thank you again!

Omg I loved this! I have chronic fatigue syndrome and tried to practice for my health but really didn't love yoga or get excited to practice because it always felt too fast for me & didn't really feel as calming. I found Yin Yoga but the poses in other videos were still too hard. I am so proud - I managed all of this today (modified but still amazing) & I love yoga now. Thank you so much Kassandra 😊

My wife and I have practised for years, but lockdown in the UK gave us the chance to practise three or four times a week. Now that lockdown has gone (at least for now!) we have continued to practise your Yin Toga classes and LOVE them. Thank you so much.

My wife and I did this class together. We both feel so ready for the day. This class is great for hips, both of us feel so open. The poses were held long enough to really get to a deep stretch. I also enjoyed how minimal the talking was, her voice is very soothing. This class was great!!!

Thank you so much for this wonderful, relaxing class! I was stiff and sore from hiking and this helped gently stretch out my whole body. I also have tight outer hips and tight low back and the head to knee really helped relase my tight lower back muscles. Thank you. I started doing another beginner yoga workout but stopped because I couldn't keep up. I liked your clear instructions, the background music, and the lack of props. I also liked the time in the poses to focus on breathing and check in with what was happening in my body. Your silence at that time helped me focus on breathing and body awareness. Namaste.

I can’t thank you enough for this gentle Yin class. With the exception of the toe squats, which are not happening for me (age 63 + RA), this is a very relaxing and enjoyable way to stretch. That was amazing. I've avoided yin yoga because it's always seemed prop heavy and I haven't been practicing so long that I've invested in props. So I really appreciated this flow. I feel so open, this was wonderful, thank you.

Due to Corona I am working from home fulltime since March. It make me sit too much and with your yin-yoga class I am able to stretch my stiff muscles. This was the first time I was able to stay in these yin poses without losing focus. I was able to feel myself just being still and in a meditative state. It was calming🙏🏻

Have a long and busy day ahead and been stressing about it pointlessly because what sense does it make to ruin your today worrying about tomorrow. I knew I will feel better instantly once I've done one of your sessions and guess what, I'm here all chilled out happy and relaxed and physically, mentally and emotionally ready for whatever tomorrow brings. This was a great lesson for my mental health. I always try to push myself to get the best out of me as I suffer from a lot of stress and low self esteem, but here, the best way to get the poses deeper, I have to relax and actually stop thinking about doing better, only think about my breathing. Something that I'll try to practice into my day to day life. Thank you so much for your classes !
