I personally like running my Yueyang with radar (PM, LS, SE, SI, CE, AR, Consumable Enhancements, Torp reload). It's awesome to catch a DD in smoke, or cruiser hiding behind islands off guard with a radar DD. In competitive, it can give you a leg up on the amount of radar that is on your team.

Although it doesn't live far from shore, a little researched and almost extinct creature lives a mysterious life, often hiding among the reefs and corals... the legendary Radar Yueyang.

I prefer the chung mu over the Yueyang just because the torps are pretty much the same but you get matched with t7 bbs like the Colorado

@ your comment on 3:30 I raise you Estuary, Ring and to some extent Solomon Islands. While of course not that identical to Two Brothers and also only available for lower Tier levels, they play similar to Two Brothers. Each map offers major win conditions in a ring surrounding a central terrain piece with 1+ short cuts. Solomon Islands is the most similar map, but due to the low player skill there and the small map size, the gap in the middle can't be abused as extensivly as in Two Brothers. Estuary and Ring both have many openings in the middle, so ships are more prone to be spotted and it's riskier due to giving broadside but positioned correctly, the islands can also cover your flanks and ships have a nice shooting corridor the the enemy defensive line. Especially on Estuary the same goal as in Two Brothers works: Distracting the enemy and forcing them back into the middle so the flanks are relieved. PS: That's also the reason why I like playing lower Tiers: Map (and ship) diversity. PPS: Nice game, nice video and nice commentary. :) Please go on with it. ^^

Is the reload booster cooldown as superlong as in the kita and harugumo? Takes forever to reuse it.

PA DDs were my first line. I never really understood how to play radar YY since it's pretty short range radar and you don't have the guns to follow-up after radaring someone. With CVs existing and PA smoke being fantastic, I always went with smoke. Is there something I'm missing about YY radar outside of maybe ranked?

khaba torps are the sneakiest non-DW torps in the game- so yea they definitely help in a pinch such as the end

I'm having a blast with Chung Mu in Ranked... It should not work but 20 torps in the water dude... it's awesome. The idea is, instead of taking dds out of the fight to outperform the capital ships, you take the capital ships to outperform the DDs, and it works, I don't know why but it works... Care to try the Chung Mu in Ranked PQ?

I've had the Chung Mu for forever now and im still hesitant to buy the tier 10 (I've got it researched) because of the dpm it loses when compare to the tier 9 but Think I'll give it a go now, thx!

Radio location + Smoke for any DD or cruiser (Mino) no radar need, so many radars already at all ;-)

Torps are already gruesome so go for gunboat fit, with the right mods reload can be 2.7secs, and radar ftw!

Sure wish WG would make more unique maps like Two Brothers, and less of the generic three cap maps.

I've always enjoyed the Yueyang, they should've put it back to it's released state. It's just cracked now and will get nerfed again, played it two days ago 251k. Maybe the stars aligned lol but I never would've had that kind of number in it's "OP" original release.

Yeah Two Brothers is a grate map. Would be nice if they made some more maps like it.

If this happened to me, my response would be: "I don't see the problem." Keep in mind, I am still a newbie, but I'm grinding the pan-euro destroyer line first. I'm so used to not having smokes that when I switch to the JP DD line because my pan-euros are in battle, _I forget I have smokes._ If I can master positioning as a DD without the benefit of smoke, I figure I can handle any destroyer. Plus, situations like this will just be business as usual, but with a radar instead of heal.

Hey, remember that WG in their infinite wisdom said "we nerf Yueyang base reload because she has a radar" and I think that video illustrate why it is b*llshit. You have such arcs it makes your DPM lackluster in the end

Smoke is better when solo, radar is objectively better ranked/CB/division with coordination.

I'd be so pissed If i were that Yamato or Montana. How are you supposed to push a flank with ships like Tueyang on the enemy team when there's no CV, DD or any radar support? I'd even say this ship is more toxic than Petro.
