Well, You can get most of the ingredients to cook Indian food in Moscow ... there are a lot of Indian stores and restaurants in all the major Russian cities ... the prices may be on the higher side due to current situation in Russia but when i was in Russia in 2018 the prices were almost same as India

Just after reading the title of this video, sirens in my head started screaming imaging Polina reaction. This is because I know Russian food don't dwell in extreme taste like Indian food and is famous world over for being bland. Indian food dwells in everywhere sweet, salty, sour, bitter unlike Russian food which at times may be little salty, little sour or little sweet or combination of some or all of this. Even Russian ice cream may feel like bland for many Indians. But there is large part of India food that is relatively bland or don't dwell in extreme taste like Nan khatai ( kind of biscuit ), Balu Shahi ( kind of donaut ) and Kaju Katli ( kind of cashew mixed with sweet cheese )

@ Ankita Fried Balu Shahi dough is dipped in thick sugar syrup for mostly coating. So its not much sweet inside. Don't know which recipe Balu Shahi you tasted

Dear Zilu, I heard that since many western countries have closed down their business in Russia, Indian firms are coming and setting up business in Russia. If they are coming, or have, you could easily get Indian cooking oils (ghee) and spices, easily

Western countries closing their business is just for a while... they also know that they can't cut out from russia for too long..or else it would be there own loss

Whereas you may be aware, Russia is almost bankrupt due to this war and have deferred on their international payments.

16:54 you can buy butter and boil it till ghee and milk solids seperate. Then seive ghee and milk solids and use as needed. Ghee is nothing, but clarified butter, and very easy to obtain, especially if you already have butter.

Ghee is easy to make.. it's also called clarified butter. So you can take some butter melt it in a pan on medium heat, once it has reached a certain temperature you'll find some lumps forming in the bottom of the pan. Cool it strain it, you're ready with some ghee.

Hi Zilu & Polina. I think you guys should go out for a Indian Restaurant for street food and make a vlog. Not fine dining just street food so that it will not cost you high. I know Indian restaurant charge very high prices on Russia due to imported Indian items.

Take butter and melt it …and you have ghee..if you want more flavour then make butter at home and then melt it… me and my friends used to do it abroad.

try making ghee at home. its not a big deal. My mom makes it every week. u just need cream or butter to make it. Search of yt and u will find a simple recipie. WE WOULD LOVE TO SEE U MAKE SOME INDIAN FOOD. it will be fun it u become a food influencer 👀🔥💜

I don't know from where you are doing this vidio but as per my knowledge there are at list one INDIAN STORE in every major city in Russia.. From you can buy all that indian food ingredients items like ghee for instant and spices too...(i had been in Russia that is i have a beat of knowledge about )

By the way, as Zilu must have known this junk food doesn't represent all of India junk food. I think its mentioned in video somewhere its North Indian junk food specially Punjab. The junk food or rather any food that can somewhat represent India is middle India food which is much more healthier than this. From there, food is little oily in north, hot-spicy in west, sweet in east and sour in south. I think there are some items Polina would avoid in this video like Gulab Jamun, Pakoda, Mutton Tikki etc if correct alternative were given. I think Polina menu for little healthier junk food will be Tikki Chhole ( potato patty with cooked chickpeas ), Bread Pakoda,Tanduri Chicken, Dahi Vada ( Yogurttwith rice lentil cake with various sauces ) and finally Ra's Malai ( cream - milk mild sweet dish ) BTW most ingredients of all these dishes are available in Russian big and middle cities even some ready made mix to make it like Hits for Gulag Jamun

Make Ghee at home. Pour milk in mixer. Churn it till butter seperates. Then take the butter out,put it in a pan and melt it. This is ghee
