Have you ever tried Rock Slides? They are expensive because they are worth it. They come in different sizes. That and the notch cut out in the opening make all the difference in the world. I wasn't really thrilled with the ceramic but love the glass and the brass. BTW the brass is not that noisy which is a good thing.

I want a resonator. I was looking into it which one do you have or recommend? Can you do a short video of options or variations of them, thanks so much love your sessions!

There are a lot of options- and it mostly depends on your budget. Also its hard to find them in any guitar stores so you might have to just order online without playing it first. Mine is a Dobro and I like it a lot but Ive never played any other resonators since they are hard to find. Ill see if I can do a quick lesson on them but no promises. I like to order from sweetwater for instruments and studio gear. Thanks for watching!

Just a technical question regarding the action on the strings of that particular resonator. Is it any different from that guitar?

The action is higher than most normal acoustic guitar would be set, but its still playable. Im not sure the exact height but its just a little higher than my Taylor.

It’s tricky. I make sure to learn riffs or parts of riffs slowly and accurately to not learn mistakes. It’s tough for me to unlearn mistakes. Speed comes eventually. I should try the paper towel trick. I’ve been using bandaids 🩹. They don’t move around and they also absorb sweat. Sometimes lots of nervous sweat…😅
