I wonder how many people have wandered up to find this and what they thought!

A stunning piece of wood and the finish turned out just great after all the problems the piece gave you. Love it.

This is just the way I would have to do it, I am encouraged that I now think I could, thanks for that. Love those old bowls and am thinking I might get some smaller planters for herbs and a few flowers this way.

Just another old Marine. 73 years old and have been turning for only 3 years. Lots of pens and now several bowls. Would really like to get at least one of those eagle, globe and anchor with the red on the ends pen blanks. Are those available or are those specially made? Thanks for the videos. Finally subscribed. Semper fi.

I pray every day for all people and their families who have to deal with the big C of all types. There are bigger things to get all bent about than how to say something, potato "potawto" Something else we all can agree to disagree about.

I have seen truckers thump the tires, but I did not know it was about hearing the tone. I supposed it was about the bounce. Thanks.

i just had a 40 ft sweet gum blow down in my yard. I was going to have the thing cut up and hauled off, but no I think a few feet of the trunk may be worth saving for bowl blanks thanks to your video. I can turn them green and let them dry in sawdust for a couple of years.

Very cool. I didn't know such a thing as a power carver existed. My grand dad used to carve, but he only used chisels and carving knives as far as I know.

Nice job mate. I started to do a few at the Mens Shed here in Tasmania. They worked out well and your video helps me to improve.

Monarch butterflies are my spirit animal. Your mom is AWESOME. I had the opportunity to release one (after whispering my wish to it which came true later on) years ago. I absolutely LOVE the caterpillar on the back!
