Thank you so much for this video. I tried it and it worked beautifully-volt needle steady at 14V, when before it was pulsating back and forth between that and 15.6/16V

Can a stock motor in a record handle these upgrades or does the engine have to be built too?

Thanks. Ive seen a few different techniques to pull the injectors without using a slide hammer, but i reckon this way is one of the better options ive seen. I think this is a better way to do it than just trying to use a piece of pipe and a nut on the injector's thread to pull it out. I could see me ruining the thread for sure trying it that way. At least with this technique, all the treads on the injector are being used to engage the puller, so hopefully less chance of ruining the injector threads. Thanks again for solving my problem, it's very much appreciated.

Just curious to verify. Are the heads the same? You did mention changing valve covers but later said essentially using it as a long block. Have a friend with a bad rod knock and we are looking into a van motore. Thanks

Heads are the same. You will need to swap your valve covers and intake

Not only do I do my own work, but if a problem like this pisses you off, I dont want you anywhere near my property. Sounds like that type of person needs a therapist. I'm an industrial maintenence tech, if something like this would make you mad, it would be hilarious to watch you deal with "I don't care what it looks like, make it run" level patch work.

Most reliable car I have ever owned is a 2003 Honda CRv. Best 4k I ever spent, and so easy to work on. Meanwhile guys at work driving a truck with a 1k monthly payment that has been to the stealership for warranty work multiple times. Mostly plastic truck with 100 sensors to go bad for 70k ? No thanks

Well when doing a BMW, Mercedes or any "high end" vehicle maintenance YOU should be checking that your ordering parts that come with everything you need. I just did a set of front and rear pads on a 14 BMW 320i, there was an option to purchase a set of pads with the wear sensor or without the wear sensor. You bought the wrong set

Because we can EASILY fix “crappy” cars. I don’t have enough time to energy after fixing everyone else’s problems to do the same for myself. So I drive something reliable and nothing new is as reliable as old, crappy cars.
