Love the video. How did you know about the gulfstream go around at PBI-do you have direct access to listen to ATC while on the plane or do you record ATC and listen later? Or do you follow flight radar apps and see the history of your flight and traffic around your flight?

As an aviation buff, and a Queens resident, I've always loved your videos. Have you ever considered coordinating with one of the flight simmers on KZfaq to do a simulated cockpit video to sync with your narration/live video. X-Plane is a notoriously good platform for flight simulation, and there are lots of users (myself included) who like to use LGA as their "home base".

Which concourses does Delta usually use? I have seen C and F. Any others? We will be having a layover here later this year with Delta and this will be the first time at this airport.

@@PeterMasellaflying to and from here is gonna be interesting. I'm assuming the plane from Orlando will be huge, so that might land at concourse F or G. Would Delta consider Milwaukee regional? When we flew from Detroit to Milwaukee, it was a smaller plane. Milwaukee and Minneapolis is not that far away from each other either. So wondering if our connecting flight will fly out of concourses A or B. 😅😊 Will know when we land. Thank you for the video. It has help. The terminal is huge!!!!!

Great video. In December I was leaving San Diego airport for Boston and there was a strong east wind. So we had to take off the opposite direction. Because of the hill and buildings on the east side of the runway, the plane only filled up a small amount of fuel to limit takeoff weight so it could climb quickly. We had a layover in Pheonix to fill up fuel and then made it to Boston with about a 2-hour delay.

Peter, The main runway 7L/25R at DAB is closed for electrical reinstallations, continuously until June 6. It would be a great video to fly in and out while they're exclusively using 6,000 ft Runway 16/34. Air traffic is super tight, because they can't use (normal student practice) Runway 7R/25L at the same time. The airliners and bizjets have to be carefully worked in with the large number of flight school training aircraft.
@PeterMasella6 күн бұрын
I heard about that but I don’t have any trips to or from DAB booked :(

Yeah I guess I did fly WAVEY, not SHIPP, on my JFK-FLL flight. Though I do remember making that southern turn around Robert Moses beach and we flew over the water the whole way to FLL. I think due to weather.

They’ll usually give you a direct LENDS or whatever the first AR enroute is. The new patterns into the South Florida metroplex are pretty cool compared to the older ones. FLL used to be most inland then PBI then MIA for great circle now they do a defined set of waypoints instead of the straight AR’s

Very interesting procedure. I think i got SHIPP'D from JFK once heading to FLL. We took off from 31L and then turned left all the way around. We parallel the Long Island coast until about Fire Island and then turned right to head south. We flew over the water basically all the way to FLL. I guess that was SHIPP'D?
