The first time I saw the retcon about Seymour, I thought it was a copout, but now I prefer it that way. I LIKE Seymour getting to have a life with fry, and fry gets to have Seymour too. Yes, it takes a lot of the poignancy from "jurassic Bark" but it's just not fair. In fiction, there ARE chances for redemption that don't exist in real life, and I'd you want more reality, then I recommend French cinema verité, not a science fiction cartoon.

I have read 3 body problem, and Dark Forest, Im yet to read Death's End. And this sucks, I guess the staircase project was part of of the 3rd book. Some spoilers for me I guess... With all due respect to the channel, I think DnD are butchering the series. They rushed this series just like they rushed season 7 and 8 in GOT... and move on quickly. I will read again 3 body and Dark Forest again before I move on to DE. But I think it is ok that we dont see Wang again, Luo Jin is the most interesting character (aside of course from the great Da Shi) I dont know if we will see much of him after Dark Forest. And it's ok. It's preposterous that a close knit group of friends are the MCs out of billions of people and they're basically the most important group of people in world's history doing wildly different things and they all hung out. ffs. So far I dont like the butchering of the characters or the story taking elements of all books in 1 season. I wanted to watch an adaptation of the 1st book, not something different using the book as inspiration. And the wallfacers selection was ridiculous. The showrunners are no different from the own self censorship where they shy away from using an a president adversarial to the US like Rey Diaz, and US Sec Def, anda former head of the EU. All who read the book saw their plans they were no different from each other. Spite geopolitical emnity. I dont know where will they go with 3 wallfacers. Chinese general, Kurdish fighter, and Saul. To make the similarities and contrast of their plan. I hate that this season was only 6 eps and butchered the books. 5/10 at best. Where can I find Tencent's book adaptation in the west?

Something similar to this was also shown in a Star Trek the Next Generation episode where Geordi was abducted by Romulans and his mind was controlled by signals sent to his VISOR which went directly into his brain to turn him into a unwilling assassin.

Personally I’ve always viewed the Freman as being a sort of mix between Arabic and Israeli, that is to say that some of them are lighter skinned and can have blonde hair and red hair while others are darker. I don’t think any of them are necessarily white but they do carry certain traits like lighter skin and hair. As for Kynes his father was an offworlder so he’d probably have lighter skin than the other Freman. All in all I don’t have a problem with the casting but I wouldn’t call people idiots for saying this is a race swap
