Until the C8 came out, I always thought the C3 was the prettiest Corvette. But I shamelessly admit to being a head over heels C8 fanboy. Quite the pair you have, best of both worlds having those two in that condition.

and 5th: pure looks for me, the C3 (mkII) is still the most pretty Vette, because of its round lines it just needs a chassis to match that ^^ the C8 is realy F.ugly because of its harsh agressive strait and hooked lines and on top its like they joined 2 unmatching cars in the middle, sorry

The C3 is still my favorite Corvette of all time and for me personally because it's a build somewhat more like a resto mod I give it a 37 that's just my opinion though and a 33 for the C8 it just fits me like a glove at 5:5 but definitely this C3 is done better than well and it's modded to your comfort

These mods are super interesting, and well thought out. I agree on the interior, it does not fit in with the overall design. Nobody asked but I think a solution would be found in introducing some curves to the flat surfaces and straight lines. First suggestion is reduce the size of the two main gauges and use white lettering on black background to make them more coherent less aftermarket-look, I'd move the smaller outside gauges lower down like on the C2. I'd also use more authentic surface materials because they look better and last longer. I would use the door cards for inspiration to finish the dash. If you can use a 3D printer, a lot of molds can be made very accurately, then use foams covered in leather, alcantara is an effective way to go. That said, the new fabricated interior looks good, has great craftsmanship and details, just doesn't fit this car.
@TacoJoe
@TacoJoe 17 күн бұрын
thanks much - great feedback and I like the 3D printer idea (I hadn't thought of that) - I'm going to revisit the interior / dash layout and make some changes. I like your ideas with gauge placement too (well thought out) - I may need to invest in a 3D printer!!!

@jomamma1750 17 күн бұрын
@TacoJoe Hey Joe, I have a question for you. Did you center(align, true, index) the bellhousing when it was installed? If not, you need to research that procedure ASAP, especially with a Tremec.
