I just bought a 2015 Canyon. My Lord, what a scrappy design. I could swap my 2003 Trailblazer battery in 10 minutes. Glad this video dropped into my feed, this will prepare me for that day. Thanks for the clear instructions!

Thanks so much...followed this video step by step and install went perfectly. Can't believe how many steps and sockets were needed to install the battery, but thankfully your video got me through it without a hitch.

Ngl, I literally just did this with a bandsaw no more than 5 minutes ago. Took about 7 minutes to get off. Now just a bit of sanding and it'll look factory. Thanks for the recommendation. 😂😂

Ugh. I guess they are not doing stuff like this anymore. Just bought Colorado and shopping for a guard like this. Anybody have any suggestions where I can look for some this awesome? I don't see anything like this video on their website now.

Ok,,,I gotta say, this was extremely helpful!!! Because, if you dont know about the clips on the bottom, the ones you cant clearly see, it's going to really SUCK trying to pry out the 58# battery while reaching over and not wanting to scratch the fender. THANKS VERY MUCH!!!!! A simple thing made easier.

I would love to have the trails you were road, but I can’t seem to locate the link. Would you be willing to share this? It definitely looks like my kind of “off roading” and the photographer in me is itching to take my camera!!!

After the battery is installed what do you do to marry this into the system?

This video has been up for a while, but I decided to look at it since my original battery has been in my 2015 GMC Canyon for over 9 years (not a typo), It is obviously time to think about a replacement (ya think?) and fortunately, I found your video. Very detailed and a major time saver for those of us who have not tackled this project yet. Kudos for a job well done!

Hey man I liked, subscribed and hit that bell. Ill make a playlist of your videos so they can play while I'm away! Hope this helps like you have helped me. I do have a question I live in the great white north salt and sand always gets into my harness and my bulb connectors tend to rust to the harness connectors. Is there any thing for that you would recommend, maybe like dielectric grease? I had a really hard time getting the bulbs out as they were rusted to the connectors. I made a big mess of things and had replace the entire harness. Thanks in advance!

I have a 2022 Z71 Colorado which is completely stock and it does very well off-road. You won't get stuck by surprise. You know when you are doing something that might be pushing the limits and those limits are fairly high.

I've changed a lot of car batteries over the years but every car and truck is a bit different on the install. This fantastic video made my job so much easier. I had all the tools in hand first, used the flathead screwdriver trick to remove the fuse box and it was a breeze! Thanks so much for the amazing content.

P225/75? like the well-worn shoes shown in the very beginning of this enticing short? Nice! Hey! I'm putting a set of ATIIIs on my late-model F150... tall-N-skinny LT255/80-17s. 10" section-width 33" radial A/Ts are few and far between. I think there're five brands/models on the market. Here's ro0tin for more choices. Safe travels to you in your overland adventures!

Great video but one slight thing. You do not have to remove the positive cable from the fuse box. Just loosen the one black wire and then slide it off to the side. But thanks for the cool tip on the screwdriver down the slot!!!
