I've been wanting to read Babel but after seeing you cry like that at the end... I don't think I can. I am so bad with unhappy endings. T.T

So Jake was the biological brother of Tiernan’s father? Wouldn’t that just make them blood relatives?

For context, I am not religious, and I wasn't raised religiously. However, I just finished Act Two, and I have googled my closest church to Confessor three times or how to find God. I'm traumatized and speechless. How did God allow this to be in the world? Penelope needs to pay for my next therapy session and apologize, or else my therapist will know her name very well.

Read “the wild” by k Webster, I guarantee you will be more than just disappointed, disturbed and disgusted more likely. It’s like credence but 100x worse. Fair warning it has everything horrible that credence has but worse . I would recommend looking up the trigger warnings because there’s so many I’m not putting them here. Not recommending you read this for fun or as a genuine recommendation, I’d just like to see a video about this absolutely hideous book. If do this if possible please don’t give the author any money because this book glorifies and romanticizes some pretty horrific stuff that should not be endorsed. I don’t support this author in any way shape or form, this is a hate read recommendation. Not forcing this and by all means if you don’t want to cover this book I totally understand .

I feel so glad to see more hate for Icebreaker because I felt like I was going insane seeing all the good reviews and raves. Like, did we read the same book?? I was ready to enjoy it because the concept is really fun but it was actually impressive to me how boring the execution was. It is truly beyond me how a concept so exciting could have been fumbled like that.

While I (someone who has been an avid reader since i could understand words) often roll my eyes at the people who scream "BOOKTOK IS DESTROYING READING FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" (trashy literature has existed since the invention of the printing press, calm tf down), some of the things that get popular there are...truly disturbing.

Also, the "getting her a dog" thing...I might just be a paranoid young woman who's had it drilled into her to look out for any early signs of an abuser, but this seems very much like a move on his part to tether her to him. Because the dog is something they have to take care of together

Reading how Travis developed the nickname pigeon from his mother has made me develop an immediately better story where he is still somewhat the 'bad boy", but with a strong connection with his mom, and because of her he learned how to have a deep respect for his girlfriends. He learned how to fight because he lived in a poorer neighborhood where those skills were somewhat crucial to stay alive, but he's still a nice person. I am 21 years old. It took me literal seconds to come up with this AU. WTF is going on in Jamie McGuire's head?

I only found you yesterday and have already been recommended and watched two videos of yours (a lot for me okay 😅). Im absolutely saving these books to look into and I love your passion for reading, I'm recultivating mine this year (aiming for a whole 10 books finished this year, which is over double what I've read the last several years during university). You also just seem lovely and like you'd make an excellent friend ❤ subscribed for sure!!

19:19 "you're weird, you're a freak, go to prison!!" is so appropriate to yell about Uncle Jake 😭😭💀 I always like to separate the author from their work, but there are some things ppl write (Aka this book) that make me wonder if the author is truly okay inside 💀 and I'm sorry to sorry, if anyone thinks any of this is hot,,, we can't be friends ✨🫠 we can't even make eye contact 🫠✨

my little brother is nonverbal due to autism and although I haven't read this book I feel like making a character nonverbal for the sake of the plot and to attempt to add personality to his character is crazy. it really undermines how difficult it is to live with or be nonverbal. that being said, I swear I've written less cringe and more interesting books at the age of 14 on wattpad
