i've been following ur 0 cycle vids recently and i've gotten interested in doing them more often (my only 0 cycle so far has been this current moc with firefly 2nd half which is pretty much a piece of cake for her) i wanted to ask how long did it take to farm all those copies of eagle and vonwacq set for ur harmony supports with 150-160+ spd ? pretty much all of my supports currently are on 160+ speed but they aren't on eagle or vonwacq and it seems that eagle + vonwacq (occasionally) can make a difference on 0 cycles so i was js wondering ! really love ur 0 cycle runs btw very creative and informative with the explanation ^___^ ♡

Fun fact: 151.4 speed is still the breakpoint for Sparkle if we are playing MonoQuantum team, a Seele at 126 speed would get her 3rd turn at 149.98 AV if we use Sparkle E - Seele E - Seele Q - Sparkle E

Thought I was subbed already but apparently I wasn't so now I am. I'm glad you and a few others like Ruri Goko and Ken Rurouni add these annotations b/c I often see people wanting to attempt to 0 Cycles and it's very hard to ease people into it when most clears don't do breakdowns. I do a decent bit of TC stuff so I can do the breakdowns for them after going over the video & checking stats but I think having the clear reasons actions are being taken either shown on screen or spoken is much more helpful for general comprehension than w/e write-up I make as an onlooker. I also don't have every char so even when I explain things being unable to showcase interactions and nuances is a pretty decent downside regardless of how well something can be explained. This clear in particular is so good for showing the value of SPD & AV b/c Seele is definitely the most fiddly character when it comes to that. Probably followed by Robin? I'd like to imagine people watching this would realize "We only need the necessary amount of SPD" b/c too little or too much SPD is one of the main things I've seen ruin rotations. But it's still quite complex to do all of this. I think there is perhaps too much focus on general breakpoints or baseline numbers when we have a lot of mechanics to interact with as well for any given rotation. Like even for BH & FF where both feel pretty simple there are a number of things you can do to optimize them based on what you're tackling. Hell when I use Seele off-element I felt the 10% ignore on the 4p wasn't that big of a game changer so I tried other sets too like 4p Eagle, 4p Wheat, or 4p Hunter & there's a lot that can be optimized based on what you go for there too. Anyway hope to see more from you.

Thanks! I think SPD and planning around it is one of those things that can be more confusing. As you mentioned, but in particular, there's actually no benefit in going faster than the desired breakpoint. And this matters specifically when I need another character to outspeed the first. E.g. in this Sparkle going faster than 151.4 would mean Tingyun would need to go some proportion faster. And it's easier to make Sparkle slower than it is to make Tingyun faster.

@@EiDehGaming Yeah it's kinda goofy how SPD tuning can get. Like Messenger 4p throwing numbers off b/c the faster character has lower base SPD. It's all extra funny to me b/c when the game launched I farmed Eagle & Hunter b/c I wanted to build YQ and Action Advance just seemed broken. If only we knew.

Incredibly interesting video! I've always thought that Seele had such simple but engaging design with the way her kit can play, and you showed it off incredibly well here. I'm hoping their future hunt design follows suit with what they've done so far, as Seele, Ratio, and Boothill all have like well-designed and intricate kits with a lot of synergy and technical play outside the general gameplan of hit them till they die (maybe Ratio less so than the others), whereas destruction is just full of one button chumps for the most part (Firefly, Jingliu, DHIL). Top 1 reason to be excited about new characters is so that Eideh can make a 0-cycle video with them.

How much of a difference does robins signature make compared to the s5 eventcone? Both in this run and in general I guess, I haven't gotten glowing reviews of it but I also worry if I can't replicate a strategy because I don't have it

The benefits of her LC are a little more subtle. The ERR can be a breakpoint for some types of runs, but not this one. And it also has ridiculously high base ATK and a teamwide buff unlike the event cone. But it's not game warping. I've not had the resources to level the event cone so I don't actually know how it compares.

Cooking Seele 0 cycles feels like doing rocket science when compared to Ratio 0 cycles. Prods to Seele who made me 0c in a f2p account that i play casualy.(only log 1x per month to spend the overcaped resin)

If I'm understanding you correctly, you normally rely on Sparkle S1 to increase Seele's CR to closer to 100%? You can actually put Sparkle's LC on Robin for the CR boost. Her personal damage will drop for sure, but it's passable if your Seele is stronger than mine. Since Robin only takes 2 turns in total in the run.

this is by far the best 0 cycle channel on youtube. not only do you not rely on limited harmony eidolons (why does every other channel have e1 ruan mei in every single run), but there are also clear and in-depth explanations WITH VISUALS that explain your thought process and strategies used. also the runs themselves are just super impressive. insane.

I think Hoyo has designed limited characters to be good enough at E0. If there were more eidolons, it would make the game easier. but EiDeh Gaming prove that most limited e0 and s1/s0 (some situation) is enough to do 0cycles.

I mean the real answer when it comes to Ruan Mei is just that she has one of the best E1's in the game. She's already cracked without it but that one Eidolon really pushes her and her teams quite far ahead (I accidentally got a very early E1 RM while trying to pull for an extra Gall and she's been insane).

The good thing is with Robin even tingyun can do 70k with basic atk but bad thing is sometimes she steals Seele's resurgence

Well it's not that casual... The way I think about Seele is that she is somewhere between a destruction and hunt character. For full ST characters like Ratio, his power budget is essentially 'fixed'. Say 2M damage in 150 AV. So if there are multiple enemies, this value has to be split between the enemies. In contrast, if there are multiple enemies, Seele's resurgence procs increases her total power budget compared to full ST. And because of this, I would say her normal ST power budget would also be lower. And if there is fodder, and even more so when the fodder somehow benefits us upon being killed (True Sting being the biggest example), then Seele will excel against these bosses more than her fully ST hunt counterparts. In the end, I think there's a bit too much focus on paper numbers that rely heavily on their assumptions. Whereas imo, there are far more mechanics to interact with in the game and in planning. And whoever looks strong at the moment is highly dependent on whatever enemies they decide to use (at least in MOC).

Ruan Mei's SPD talent does not affect herself, so the 173 is 173 regardless for her. I believe the SPD i mentioned here are the actual effective SPD requirements. So if the character is affected by RM's talent, then you reduce 10% from the SPD requirement, which usually directly translates to 10 SPD

anything im missing regarding the toughness? im familiar with the conventional 30/60/90 and the 1/2/3 dgcat uses but this is the first time im seeing 10/20/30 also regarding ur description question: p(ck) = 0.5 assuming they only need to be hit once: p(hit) = 0.25 x 0.25 = 0.0625 p(sw) = 0.25 im guessing u mean full crits here? so excluding pioneer's ramp up time (which i assume is only first hit of ult) CR = 0.796 + 0.12 + 0.08 = 0.996 from looking up some slow mo vids i could make out she hits 12 times on ult and 5 times on skill. with some rounding down p(crit) = 0.996^17 = 0.9341 so for now we have the ever so glorious: p(t) = 0.0072977 or the legendary 0.7% run and that's only for phase 1 for both phases, since no ck rng on phase 2 u can more or less just p(f) = 2p(t)^2 = 0.0001065 or a one in 10k runs another layer of rng that might not matter as much is sw talent procs: ehr: 0.627+10 (pela) = 0.727 base chance to land her debuffs at talent lvl10 is 0.72 vs 40% eff res cocolia: chance to land is then 0.7461 chance to implant via break is then 0.6735 technique + skill + ult + break with 3 possible debuffs and an ugly looking ass binomial formula that im not writing, the chance to land def down from talent at least once is then: p(sw2) = 0.3288 which funny enough, didnt land in cocolia's phase 1. not bothering with phase 2 since im already hard cringing from sw's existence. god why did hoyo make her so bad

It's because the game itself shows these values of 10/20/30. Not sure when it started to be honest but I only noticed it when Firefly released. Few corrections btw: 2. both need to be hit at least once - because Cocolia always targets 3 different characters or to put it another way, only 1 character isn't attacked. So the question should be framed as what is the probability that Sparkle or SW are the ones that are not attacked. And that's 0.5. 3. Ice implant is actually 1/3, the actual number of character representation does not matter. 4. I didn't want to talk about damage because this one is not easy to calculate so I didn't bother. Basically, there's 6 bounce hits at the end of the ult on the last hit. And I never bothered to find out how many needed to land on Cocolia over Gepard for it to work. But all 4 big hits of the ult must crit, which I've learnt painfully often. And even though her crit rate is 95.6 in combat, I've seen it happen way too often :( So the actual probability from mechanics alone (not including damage) is about 1/2 * 1/2 * 1/3 * 1/3 which is about 1/36. For your other points, they do matter a lot actually in some scenarios. It's actually the reason why I'm forced to run both Resolution + Incessant Rain instead of just Incessant Rain + Tutorial. For the run, SW's bugs don't matter because DEF shred overcaps with Resolution + SW ult + Pela ult. But if I did the other option, then there might be insufficient damage depending on whether SW lands the DEF bug. For here, it's more the case that I was aiming for the attack down debuff so Acheron doesn't die. There are other sources of RNG too. Because of SW's high SPD requirements, she actually has insufficient EHR to guarantee even the implant itself. It's something like 95% and I've seen it miss too often. In the end, as with anything RNG, it can be a short time or a long time. I've done this run a total of 4 times. The shortest one taking 6 mins (~5 resets) and the longest one taking 1.5 hours because there's simply no guarantee RNG will align well. And failing 50 times has no effect on the probability of the next run. The important factor here is actually the expected time per reset more so than the probability. An the 1/3 chance only on phase 2 is the problematic one. If all 1/36 RNG trials were at the start of the fight then it'll be pretty acceptable. But rolling a 1/3 chance after about 1.5 min of gameplay is not ideal.

Great video my goat. It’s pretty hilarious to me that both boothill and firefly’s highest damage team just has the other because there isn’t enough downside to having the dual dps. They both do a lot of toughness to break and can use HMC Ruan mei really well. Makes me wonder how other break characters in the future might just slot in.

It's a rather peculiar quirk with super break teams. People tout how Firefly's best team uses a sustain, but it's really more like using a 4th character that has high toughness damage who doubles as a sustain. Because it's not at all obvious what's a good way to improve the damage on the team and it's extremely encounter dependent. At 400% effective break effect in combat, there's really no more efficient avenues to improve FF's own damage. So why not put another damage dealer in the 4th slot? I actually tried running Asta once and FF reaches something like 550 BE? Only about a 30% increase. But the damage difference does not warrant the 4th slot.

​@@EiDehGaming then would you say that picking up boothill is better than getting another copy of firefly ? i dont think her personal dmg get improved that much by her e1, and sp management is something that could be planned in advance. well ofc her e1 usually just considered as a stepping stone toward her e2, but its going to be more expensive. and tbh i kinda dislike the fact that her e2 dmg ceiling is pretty....low ? compared to other e2 traditional crit dpses. hmm i guess low is not the right word to describe her ceiling. like its already hard capped with her current team unless we get a crazy upgrade from hmc. maybe its just me being paranoid for no reason, she is a really good char after all.

@@orion9535 I think that's really a more personal decision. Despite both basically requiring to break, they do play very differently in my opinion. Boothill can easily run without superbreak and cares more about the binary state of broken vs not broken. FF cares a lot about things like break efficiency. And depending on what types of supports they decide to release in the future, one or the other might greatly benefit. In the end, it comes down simply to whether you like the character or not and if you're short on ST damage on your roster. The decision is easy for me because I simply don't roll for eidolons.

Her e2 gives a good 37% increase in ideal scenarios and a good 25% increase in other scenarios if enemy dies too quickly before her e2 can pop off (didn't get 2 extra turns in her combustion state). It is nearly a similar boost like acheron so it is a decent eidolon. But other than that her e3 to e5 is very very weak and only e6 gives another 30% boost.

It depends a lot. The 2nd run is basically no RNG, so 1 take. The first run can fastest was 6 min, slowest was about 1.5 hours. That's about the upper end of what I'm willing to go through with

Trying this nearly a week and still can't finger out why your jingliu can deal that much dmg. The differrence between you and my build is I using the ice set with w7 planar ornament (PO) set, and you using the quantum set with w6 PO. But I don't think 15% ult increase and the quantum set can be so much differrence compared to my build (i just can deal nearly 400k to argenti with the same buff like you). But I still have no ideal how your jingliu can deal ton of dmg like that???

is your gear comparable? Do you have RM and JL LC? S5 Resolution on Pela? If not, then that might explain the disparity in damage. If you do, then perhaps there might be something else problematic like buffs running out too quickly, etc.

Because i had to reset a lot of times because SW reimplants another element at the point you're talking about. Not exactly the same scenario but you can see the last SW skill reimplants lightning.

@@EiDehGaming Got it, thank you for the link! Damn, those are some really nice relics wtf. How long did it take to get those? I started HSR in Feb and have spent about the last 1 month in the pioneer cavern, and my best piece only has 4 total crit rolls. It's a struggle out here...

@@rurouni572 I did get ridiculously lucky with this. The planar ornaments took about 3 days after patch dropped. Pioneer took about 2 weeks, in which I somehow got no usable head and hands but got pretty good chest + boots. I exchanged for the head and hands and got really lucky. Often, luck is the only factor and sometimes people do get lucky. I'll contrast this to my rutilant and quantum set experience. I farmed quantum set on and off since game launch (or whenever I first hit the level TB 60) and only stopped somewhere in 2.1. And I've also been farming rutilant quite a bit (basically since it dropped) but you never see it in any of my showcases because the pieces I get are simply awful. So there's always two sides to the same coin, but you'll only ever see my good relics because they're the ones I'll use.

Impressive, tbh ... I'm not really liking this mode especially the gimmick to need breaking enemy first before dealing boom damage, feels like we focusing too much into this toughness gimmick than actual brawl with bosses

The good thing is that 4p Eagle, Vonwacq and DDDx3 keeps getting more and more value so you don't need to feel bad to keep farming and pulling for those.

I mean, Argenti was first released on 1.5 patch where pure fiction was introduced and he was naturally excelled in this game mode so in this patch, Firefly was released in which she's a break dps that breaks enemies and our hearts back in 2.0 so Apocalyptic Shadow was catered for her like the Pure Fiction was catered for Argenti

i mean, it's the FF patch, so everything is gonna be weakness break oriented. If i have to guess, the next patch will have some sort of buffs where your character has to get hit and the one that just got hit will deal alot of extra damage. Just like how there was a stupid amount of ultimate damage buffs in 2.1, to the point where non-ult dps couldn't do shit

​@@tridinh1011Yes, the next AS has a FuA buff with an extra buff for Counter (in the same way that the current one has a buff for normal Break and an extra one for Super Break)
