Dang, it looks like this was so much fun! Such a massive Con I'm sad I couldn't make. Next time maybe. Great idea to break up the con this was to focus on the cool stuff better. I absolutely love those monster books. They look so good!!! So cool to meet those celebs too. Got to watch out running yourself down at these things. I learned the hard way at GenCon years ago and lost a whole day because I felt crappy. Not enough sleep, water and food will ruin a con. Can't wait to see the other videos bud!🤩

I'm not sure if Mitch himself runs this account, but if it is, thank you for stopping to take a pic and say hi. It meant a lot to a first time Terrificon attendee. Standing in line (literally standing because they’ll basically arrest you for sitting) for 7-8 hours is exhausting even for an athlete, I don’t care how in shape you are. That is an accomplishment and it just adds to the experience. Also…could your wife convince my wife to watch our kids and let me do something like Terrificon 😂

So I'm in "ok" shape and it still beat the crap out of me. Could have been in better prep for it the night before but ya only live once. So the trick with my wife was offering her a trade which weighed heavily in her favor. So for instance, she got two concerts and three nights away sleeping over with friends. But also, yes, I can have her people reach out to your people haha. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment!

I can't believe this is only the first video! That's incredible you were actually able to get those pre-hero Marvel books you were targeting and at reasonable prices. AvP Deadliest of the Species is a wild story that has some phenomenally well done cyberpunk elements but I've always been a little mixed on the actual Alien/Predator aspects of it. However, when I saw Claremont's reaction to you handing him that book, clearly the guy had a blast writing it and its special to him. Your clip has literally changed how I view that series, so well done sir. Also thats bonkers you got to meet Phillip K Johnson, seems like a really nice guy. C. Thomas Howell is an 80s legend I'd love to meet, I would probably just speak incoherently about how awesome The Hitcher is haha. Its exciting to hear all the stories and I'm glad everyone had a great time. I expect lots of Dutch/Dillion "handshakes" occurred when you guys all met!
@Moncomics
@Moncomics 19 сағат бұрын
And this was a short day! I just ran around on missions as I wasn’t sure when I would get to do this again. Sometimes the guys were with me, sometimes they weren’t but I knew I’d be with them at night. When I showed up to the booth with the monster books he had already sold two so I had to grab the ones I REALLY wanted. And Claremont totally cherishes that series he wrote and it TOTALLY has cyberpunk themes! C. Thomas Howell was an absolutely sweetheart as was all the talent be it from comic books or movies. I can’t wait to tell Saturday’s story as it involves Michael Rooker craziness and he was the real MVP of the weekend. I knew you’d like the Dutch/Dillon clip and that totally happened all. Day. Long. Lol. Thanks for sticking with me and watching my friend!

Ok, so this comment. This one right here that you took the time to write has made my month my man. I wanted to make this video all week but between not having a voice and figuring out how to formulate the video, how to do it to keep people interested was something I was hoping I could do. I think for most I accomplished that but for you to tell me I did just THAT…thank you. Seriously. Sometimes personal anecdotes or stories don’t translate well in videos so if one person was able to feel an ounce of how I felt, then mission accomplished. I’m so glad you had that interaction with Marty too. What an absolute generational gem. He could snap into character so quick too! So do I man! Even if it’s just adding an extra letter at the end of a crazy word it just does it for me. Thank you as always for watching, Richard!

He’s a great guy, Kris. I like bud metal detecting videos too as he unearths some cool history! And I think we’ll be able to find some fun at the con!
