Can anyone help me with a couple of questions? 1. I'm looking into a change of career/field. Luckily a lot of my skills are transferrable, how do you recommend I write my resume? 2. I worked for a major telecommunications and wireless provider in the US. I worked on several high profile/multi-million contracts for this provider. I have a proven record of my achievements. How do I go about creating a website to line up these achievements without disclosing too much? thank you!!!

I love numbers and yearned to be a high school math teacher but school officials, particularly the DOE, discouraged me as much as they could (without making it look so obvious) from chasing my dream. I also recall CUNY guidance counselors discouraging me from pursuing my academic objectives. This was all done in an effort to keep certain minorities from reaching success and job security. The New York City DOE is the definition of toxicity. So, I did others things with my life. Now at 59 years old with three (not boasting) college degrees, I find myself working as a security guard making peanuts for a living in a dead-end job with no pension, no benefits, a simple but confusing 401k (knowledge of the stock market is needed), and the list goes on and on. How about that for a story? P. S. I also worked as a substitute teacher for 8 years in NYC public schools. The worst 8 years of my life.

When studying for history exams, after going over the notes, I'd walk around campus delivering "a lecture" on the subject. I looked like a nut, but that's what college is for. I aced those exams: to have to put all that information into a coherent talk really cemented it in your mind. Writing it down later then was easy.

Coffee shops. Sit at a table near the cashier, and low key greet people while painting. This is how I make friends. When it's busy and there's nowhere to sit, I invite strangers to sit with me. It forces people to sit with people and the art gives you an icebreaker. I had 500 business cards and after a few months I'm running out. So enjoy. It works. Be patient, try different coffee shops and wait for the magic of networking and learning to socialize with different people.

Maths. I’ve ignored an entire 6 mark question in my final exam last year, Something was negative that I forgot the write the - sign Calculator errors. Typing the wrong thing and getting the wrong answer. 2*8 = 18. For some reason I’ve forgotten to sqrt my final answer after using Pythagoras The question was to find the area of the circle after finding x, I wrote x as the answer Part b was in the same line as part a so I didn’t see it My entire class used to expect me to get the award for 100%, (I wanted too) but I don’t think they do anymore 💀

going through a self assessed depressive episode after years of denying I had something wrong with me and the constant stress I was at from school. I haven't been fully relaxed and taken a "deserved" rest since like 13 and im turning 17 next week. I got exams and im close to failing every single one of them. it is not just because of me being on my phone all the time but it does take a huge toll on my mental health as well. everything I do feels like some sort of an escapism to me and i only seem to relax when I partake in taking drugs with my peers. I am a coward for not wanting to go to therapy. it is funny how I denied depression and did not believe someone could be depressed at a young age, but looking on that behavior now, it seems like projecting to me. all I want in my life is to wake up one day and just be the way that I want myself to be but I know that will never happen. the occasional bombings and sirens that are happening in my city dont even seem to affect me that much, cause im numb to that. i sometimes imagine that if I did went to therapy and got diagnosed with depression legitimately, would it make me feel better, but i answer this question to myself with "I dont know" as it will bring a sense of relief, that it is not my fault and I was not making it all up, but at the same time, It would make things harder because my relatives would find out and things would get ugly. my mom thinks im just a lazy teen, and I may be exactly that, but I personally think that my potential is far greater than what I am accomplishing as of now. I am afraid of a realization that if I dont get my life sorted out, I will turn from a kid that has great potential, to a regular dude that had potential once but he let himself go.

33:15 hey Thomas, I feel that my channel used to be like the first one, but now I stuck on the second type of channel: stagnant. Do you know how could I fix that? I would really like to get my channel out of stagnation. I know there is probably no 1 single solution, but I don't know where to start. I'm trying topics that should be interesting, with decent thumbanils and good editing. Yet I'm not seeing growth as I used to. I started the channel inspired by you, so I'm really thankful for that.
