All of those variations target the same muscle: the lats , just the stretch is a bit different from one to another usually the closer the grip is the more stretch there is , but it is just slightly more

Work your way up from the extended position with less stretch going into further stretch. Any movement your body is allowed to do, can be strengthened. You can build flexibility and strength at the same time. Often, strength is recognized by size, but more often than not you won't see it.
