I love this deck, one of my favorites in Pioneer. Most lists these days run Leyline of the Guildpact though, that card is great in the deck. Wolfwillow Haven isn't played anymore generally, and I still prefer Oath of Nissa over Invasion of Ixalan. Also I prefer to run 1 more land, some Sunken Citadels in there, and some W/G Pathways for Deafening Silence and Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines in sideboard.

I switched one Copter with Extinction Event. Seems to help with MonoGreen and even mirror matches.

ladder got so much more toxic. i am getting roped every other game. especially the long grindy ones. it used to be a nice ''good game'' now its i rope my turn 2 times. and do an auto stop in your upkeep to waste another one.

Hi Arne. You spoke about coaching at the start, I was one of your students (on Esper Midrange). Today was the first time I won my locals in Munich, playing Mono Black Coffers with a record of 3-0-1. Fun story, I won match four with 1-0 after my opponent(Azorius Control) had emptied his library and I had raised my life total to 64😂. This is the third time I won Match Four with 1-0...😅

Hey, whatever you're inspired to build and play in mtg content, go for it. If nothing inspires that's fine. I just enjoy it when I get a noti. And I don't mind the mtgo stuff either, those are interesting too wl cubes and older formats for sure 😊

I think the Leyline build is superior, having that 4 devotion early is huge and the fact that most decks can't interact with it is nice. Sure it might be a dead card at times, but it can replace something like wolfwillow haven which has always been quite mid.

I would 1000% watch you draft on arena. Nice to see you back :}

You could be the next CGB if you kept with it and became more consistent. You are fantastic to watch. Btw CGB makes 50,000 + USD per month in income 😅

I will say that I am quite surprised with mono G resurgence, although I have my bias because I am mostly an uw player lol, and losing karn was huge to us and also every change since the karn ban made the matchup better as well, now we have a good 2 cmc counter, a good hard counter instead of absorb, especially for go over the top matchups like mono g, and also we ended up running sunfall now, so every change on our deck happens to be good against mono G. I've seen some versions with CtE as 1of or even 2 of mb, I don't like it because I feel pretty confortable without it and is pretty bad on a lot of matchups (I hated even during the end of the Karn era) I will say that uw doesn't feel that bad to me, but again I am clearly biased, pretty good against amalia, also feel confortable against waste not, just make them not have lilliana or waste not in the field and you topdeck better than them

FYI, Pioneer UW Control *is* commonly running 2-3 Narset in the main these days. Some even cutting Teferi. 2-3 Sunfall too. Change the Equation is still pretty unusual though

I would definitely watch Modern videos if you wanted to do them, even if MTGO is not the greatest client.
