I occasionally get that error too, and recently there has been an issue with Fresco documents that contain placed images failing to send. You can try removing images, or as a last resort, export as a PDF and remove the clipping masks inside. Also, you might be looking at the "raster effects" resolution setting, which is different than resolution. Whatever you send to Illustrator should arrive with the same dimensions as the original art. This change did not affect Creative Cloud documents (.aic, .psdc files) only synced files, so if you have documents and libraries you will see them in the CC desktop app.

It still works, but you may not have the pattern fill selected. You can go to the Appearance panel and click on the fill to select it.

Not crazy at all! It's a different app, and it doesn't have as many features as the desktop version.

Hi, I'm sorry, but I don't know why that would happen with images in Illustrator on the iPad-unless you need to zoom in more as the image gets smaller to continue scaling it.

@@LauraCoyle Thankyou! I make the picture tiny, download it, and it still comes out the same size. Like there’s a standard size and it won’t make it any different way. It might be because it’s the iPad application. If I try on my computer it might help.

Use global swatches, you can update all art that has a global fill color applied. Apply a global swatch to the art, then select the swatch, then double-click on the fill in the toolbar to open the color picker, and all the art attached to that pink swatch changes as you move the cursor in the color picker. But, this is not how you edit the global swatch (I used the color picker just for the video) to edit the global swatch, double click and use the sliders in the pop-up dialog.

That's a great workaround - sometimes the creative cloud connection (I think) is glitchy and I can't get it to send to my desktop either. Sending it to the iPad creates that cloud document, so it can be opened wherever. yay!

Since this video, there is a direct way in Fresco: "Open a Copy" and sometimes it fails - but when it works it solves the clipping mask issue. If you were exporting a PDF, which I've had to do because of another recent bug in Fresco that wouldn't let me send a file with images, you can use this video to help with removing the clipping masks that come along with the PDF.

So after you vectorize (Image Trace?) you have to expand the tracing. Once expanded, you can use the Magic Wand tool to select by color. Double click the Magic Wand to turn the tolerance all the way down to zero. Click the art you want to change, it selects everything that color and you can then change it.

It's hard to say without being there. I would ask your client or printer what they require - you can make anything a global swatch and it can always be updated to the final color to fit the print process.

Right, it's no longer there because this video was made earlier in the year before Adobe removed the feature. Now that it's been removed, you won't find it in the Creative Cloud app.
