Getting close to the empty nest too. Licensed sailors here looking for passage experiences if you ever need two 50-year olds to split shifts! Heading to Annapolis this fall if you want to eyeball us!

heard you mention the ND filter on the drone... for super sunny days like that one, do you use ND filters, ND PL filters, or nothing? If you do, do you set the shutter speed to twice the frame rate, and use whichever ND filter gets you to the lowest ISO of the drone?

I really appreciate the message of this episode. It's not some sentimental nonsense but ultimately the truth. You won't connect with anyone the way you did when you decided to make it a bond for life. Granted you did it as a mature adult having had plenty of exposure to sexual experiences before.

Kieth, how does the insurance for the boat work? How often do you need to update them on where you are in the world? Are they part of your trip planning when making major crossings such as from the Mediterranean Sea to the Atlantic and eventually to Florida? Did you have to talk to your insurance when you were in the Red Sea and along the east coast of Africa due to the limited services offered to yachties(SP?) and the potential 'pirate' situations? How often do you need to communicate with them? I know you guys are currently headed to Grenada for this year's hurricane season, how much do they affect your freedom of movement? Love the videos and thanks for answering!

It's never bad to be organized! Keeps you from buying too much or not enough. Also what puritanical idiots had a problem with kisses? It's not like anyone was getting finger blasted on cam... Jeeez...

I’m sure you guys won’t see this, but I’ve been watching you since the kids were actual kids, you’ve brought joy to my sometimes lonely life and I can’t thank you enough for taking the time and effort to film all of this. I see you all are heading to Grenada; I’m from Trinidad & Tobago which is near Grenada. I hope you might consider taking a sail over to say hi and try some local food. Sincerely, Chad

Ok, it has taken a minute, but I am all caught up. I started watching from Episode 1 on April 22, 2024. What an incredible journey the Z Crew has embarked on and continues to cut through the waters of the world’s oceans. I’m looking forward to the next installment of Sailing Zatara. Great job setting the hook on all of us.

Maybe you could start a new business of taking couples out that want to learn how to sail and learn the ropes of sailing. A small boutique style Charter business . Zitara couples retreat.

Those Max props need to have grease pumped in to the ports. You probably know that. Lubriplate AA or gp-1 calcium sulphanate grease are recommended during to their resistance to washout. Avoid using G-2 weight grease. Too thick.
