This is high tourist season for Vegas. The more popular casinos like Cosmopolitan, Aria, MGM, are popular because they are closely connected. People are coming from all over the world to enjoy the Vegas experience. They expect it to cost them. It’s just part of the occasional visitor’s expectations. Only the regulars, locals, and people with smaller budgets notice the increase. But watching KZfaq videos about the walk-throughs in the casinos, Vegas is doing just fine.

Great Video!!! Have ever considered doing a video on visitors from out of town, during the weekday, I fly in from Phoenix on Monday-Thursday package deal on Priceline/Expedia, Airline Tickets are $.35 cents, "Yes 35 cents each way" plus taxes which is about $17 dollars, stay at Linq/Flamingo/Harrah's for a total of 220-250 per person package deal, you get better deals during week plus less crowds!!!! Have not checked out flights from LA/San Francisco/San Diego/Denver/Salt Lake City, but I am sure you would probably get same airline fee of cheap cheap, must be a kick back from Hotels?

Most casinos that closes are for oblivious reasons. This closure shouldn’t be happening. If corporations had any sense of what the public wants, they’d restore this property, keep the volcano, major overhaul to the rooms, keep the name. Build the guitar down the street. If you want to book here I suggest to get the privilege. The food is better and the alcohol choices are also good.

Virgin Voyages Future Cruise Scam Shame on Virgin Voyages deceitful onboard “offer” & scam !!! Loved our cruise and all the Virgin Voyages crew members, but now feel totally cheated and disgusted by Virgin Voyages after they changed the terms and conditions of the Future Cruise offer (between Virgin & tour/cruise operators) which we took out onboard. This “Epic Offer, only available onboard” as Virgin touted, was as simple as this…………… place a $300 deposit on a future cruise, whilst onboard and before the end of the our cruise and they “promised” $300 off your next cruise plus $600 onboard credit, with up to 60 days to choose a cruise and 2 years to take the cruise, either through Virgin Voyages, or any tour operator of our choice. As of today, 6th June 2024, I’ve spent 6 hours on calls, to multiple cruise tour companies and each and every one of them said that Virgin are refusing to honour the $300 dollar off my next cruise, as Virgin changed the terms and conditions of the offer (between Virgin & the tour operators) at the end of May 2024, just 5 days after we finished our cruise. This change of terms & conditions, stopped these tour operators from applying the $300 discount from my future cruise, on “Net Rates” which is the standard rate used by tour operators, to sell cruise’s to the general public. I was not aware of this rate and neither should you, as it is a term only used between tour operators and cruise lines and not a term that you or I should be aware of, or understand. Each tour operator carefully explained, that the cruise quote they gave me today, was a valid quote, only if I “did not use, or apply” my $300 MNVV (My next Virgin Voyage) cruise discount and in doing so, I would also forfeit the additional $600 onboard credit. If I demanded that they apply my $300 MNVV discount, they would be forced (by Virgin Voyages) to use a completely different rate for the cruise quotation, which would be far more expensive and effectively wipe out all of my $300 MNVV future cruise discount and most of the “true value” of my $600 onboard credit, effectively eliminating the whole “Epic Offer” package. That is utterly disgusting and a total misrepresentation of the offer made onboard Scarlet Lady and destroys my faith in Virgin Voyages and anything they may “promise” in future. Every agent, from every tour company, said that they could have honored the $300 MNVV discount, if we had booked a cruise before the end of May 2024 and they were sorry that Virgin Voyages had failed to inform us of their change of terms & conditions, before leaving the ship, instead of letting us believe that we had 60 days to “take our time” and choose our future cruise, without feeling rushed or stressed. One of my sons also paid $300 deposit on a future cruise whilst onboard and he is utterly disgusted and disappointed in Virgin Voyages sleight of hand. We are both now looking at other cruise lines, as an alternative to Virgin Voyages, which makes me sad honestly, as my whole family (all nine of us) loved everything about our cruise on Scarlet Lady Update - 8th June 2024 Tour operators have now given me quotes using the MNVV discount offer from Virgin (at the higher rate) which effectively makes our cruise price, £375 (Sterling) per person more expensive, for a grand total per cabin (based on 2 people) of £750 more expensive, than not using the “discount” deal in the first place. Shame on you Virgin Voyages, for your underhand tactics and failure to honour the onboard deal offered to me and my family. A simple answer would be to honour the original offer for everyone who placed a future cruise deposit with Virgin before the “change of terms & conditions” then openly and transparently, on the 1st day of the change of terms & conditions, advise anyone placing a future cruise deposit, of the exact limitations of that offer going forward.

I've been to the strat 3 times already and I can say for sure that the only things it has going for it are the top of the world restaurant, the observatory deck and the Swim & social pool. I also visited wet 24 while there and there wasn't really anything special about that place outside of topless women and even that wasn't really a good sight.

I’ve stayed at Luxor 5x in total but none within the last 12 years… I think it’s a great place to visit while in Vegas. Some of my biggest winnings are from here 🎰 But overall, I think I’ll stick with my dirty castle over Luxor 🏰 Mostly because it’s closer to everything.

You can tell it's an old hotel. They need to do a better job cleaning the rooms. There was nail clippings on the night stand and weird curly hairs in the shower when we first arrived. But they happily switched us to a different room in the tower free of charge when we brought it to their attention. Aside from that we had a good stay there.

I rather spend my hard earn money in Europe.

Luxor has a special place in my heart. It was our first hotel we stayed at when vacationing in Vegas. I would always visit Luxor every time I'm in Vegas

With Vegas Strip competition for tourists,Locals, and gamblers is tough and Customer Service is everything now. At some point every single employee who knows COVID layoffs discovered how important Customer Service is for their job. I’ve noticed big time and it’s great.

I have stayed there twice, once in the Pyramid and once in the tower. I thoroughly enjoyed it and don't understand the hate it gets. It is the perfect place for when you want a cheap Vegas getaway.

Great tips. To save on travel we grab a Deuce pass and use that to explore different resorts every time we visit. We stay at Treasure Island and get great rates with no resort fees. Plus each room has a mini fridge in it.

My wife & I stayed at Luxor the 2nd time we ever went to Vegas back in 2003 and I remember having a great experience. 20 years and over a dozen hotels later we decided to go back because we had a great MGM comp offer. Oh boy, our opinion was that it's certainly showing its age. Booked Pyramid King, but was upgraded to a Tower King upon check-in which was nice. However, first night the water stopped working in the tower, so at 2am we switched back to the pyramid room. The inclinators were beat up, banged up, slow & shaky and I think the room furniture was the same as back on 2003 (towels too, lol).. Bottom line opinion - it's not like we would never stay their again, but would rather stay elsewhere with a lesser comp offer & a nicer experience.

I was just there last weekend. I really liked it, it was good value for money imo!
