@@ADirtCheapLifeParaguay Australia and New Zealand gave up their gun rights, and it was no coincidence that they suffered draconian measures. Meanwhile, in the USA, for the most part, no one's right to move freely was infringed, no one was forced to take the vacchine, and no one was arrested for criticizing measures online. It wasn't even necessary to use guns for this... but since the government knows that citizens can defend themselves, that's enough to make them think twice.

Hey there again, just an update. I have been advised that once you have a cedula you need to obtain a certificate from the Paraguay Police confirming that you have behaved well in this country. You then have the ability to apply for a gun licence. This info was from a friend of mine so like all advice, confirm it yourself before proceeding. We are intending to do more research about this to confirm the situation and when we do we will post a video.

I ❤️ El Paraiso Verde in Paraguay! I live there with my family and with so many friends. 🌴❤️ It is wonderful!!! ☀️❤️ The problems that were caused solely by the former president of Reljuv, Mr. Juan Buker, and some of his associates in El Paraiso Verde, have now been solved to a very large extent under the new president of Reljuv, Dr. Erwin Annau, in the few months since he assumed the presidency of Reljuv. A few agitators are being paid by competitors of El Paraiso Verde to discredit the new president of Reljuv, Dr. Erwin Annau (and other settlers) in social media, and these agitators are even falsely spreading his co-responsibility for the damages of the past during the term of office of Mr. Juan Buker, the previous president of Reljuv. They also repeatedly make connections with Scientology, although Dr. Erwin Annau has completely distanced himself from this sect. The settlers of El Paraiso Verde, however, and also the wonderful people who are new to us, know the evidence and see the progress in El Paraiso Verde every day. They know the truth. They thank Dr. Erwin Annau for his clear vision in his decisions and for the realization of his vision, which is so wonderful for everyone. Dr. Erwin Annau was the founder of this ingenious project. He has now taken it into his own administrative hands. ❤️

Hola! The video was taken on the day it was posted (the latter part of the vid). At the moment the weather is quite variable. Some days we are in T shirts, shorts, others we have several layers, beanies, scarves. We haven't spent much time in other parts of the country so we can't comment too much regarding the variability, but we understand that it's warmer in the Chaco of course. We are hoping to do some trips soon fingers crossed we will have more to report about such things. Considering how warm it is during much of the year this cold spell is actually a nice change. We are enjoying the weather here. The sky is very clear and sun is intense...a little like New Zealand. The colors are bright and everything grows so fast. That's why I (Adam) am usually squinting. I have green eyes and I think that makes them more sensitive to light. It was the same in New Zealand. I found it much brighter there also (than Australia).

I couldn't get the right kind of document to satisfy the govt official, and had to give up. The requirement to renew your cedula every six months is also incredibly restrictive. We haven't done it ourselves but we know several people who have. I have heard that it's a more straight forward process if you are freighting from Germany. The reason being that many have done it before so there are some solid processes in place. There's many things to consider. Any electrical household items run the risk of damage due to condensation. I know of someone who had a lot of their kitchen appliances ruined that way. If we were to attempt bringing a container in we would want someone knowledge in the process, fluent in Spanish and at this end to liaise with Customs. It can be a sticky process. It's worth bearing in mind that you can just about anything here so sentimental considerations aside you really need to calculate whether not it's financially viable to freight a lot items here.

Not many power outages here. About the same as anywhere else we've been. Power is cheap here so aircons and fans are running when it's hot. The only place we have seen scorpions is Nica. This was a particularly good video! I have to admit Nicaragua sounds really great. But, unfortunately with the current political climate, one of the most important factors is probably - which country would be a better place to be during the next pandemic, which I think is on the agenda. How was Nicaragua during the pandemic? Any chance they would mandate the 'shots'? (By the way Doug Casey doesn't like the government in Nicaragua at all). I had a strong sense of peace with you living in Paraguay, even though it sounds like it's missing the 'wow' factor. Peace would be worth it's weight in gold during turbulent times which it sounds like could be about to occur.
@ADirtCheapLifeParaguay
@ADirtCheapLifeParaguay 23 күн бұрын
Nicaragua is certainly a beautiful country. We weren't there during the drama's so can't comment about their response; but Nicaragua has reportedly implemented a requirement that in order to gain residence you require a c#vid jab. Any chance that they'd further mandate the shots? IMO of course there's a chance. There's more things that I could say about this but when speaking about this topic I select my words carefully but let me say this...I recommend researching the history of any country you're thinking about settling in, particularly in regard to their human rights track record. However, be careful who you listen to. Regarding Nica, at present the most active expat vlogger there is a deceitful, self serving blowhard who is disguising several of his agendas under the guise of 'free advice'. Much of what he says is factually BS and he is not what he purports to be. In regard to Paraguay, I'm with you...peace is worth its weight in gold, in fact, it's worth more. And yes, it doesn't have the wow factor of Mexico, Nicaragua, Brazil; those who have eyes to see know that everything comes with a price, including the 'wow factor'. We're happy to give up the wow to avoid the rest that comes with it. That seems to be the attitude of Paraguay also. This is a great central place from which you can access neighboring countries if you want to access some 'wow'.

I can say with 100% confidence that a lot of what he puts out is factually incorrect BS.
