Do you remember the amounts of White, red and kamut berries you used? I currently use half white and half red but would love to use some Kamut. I also just ordered the sunflower lecithin - thank you

Just add a bit more flour until the dough comes together. It will still turn out just fine.

I am so happy to see you watering with a watering can………I do the same thing in my garden and in the garden I take care of at Church. People always say “use the hose!” but I like the slowness of the watering can and also I know how much I am giving to my plants. And I agree with “bearing each other’s burdens” in a marriage. After 43 years and the deaths of our only child and only grandchild - we really need to take care of each other and we do - in happiness, peace and humor. My husband is the only person in the world who can make me laugh at myself - every day. I love him for that more than anything. Peace to all…….and love🌺👩‍🌾

My husband shattered his ankle just before this past Christmas, and it really pushed me into a whole new mindset. It was months of not only doing everything on my own but also caring for him. It was hard, and i was feeling burnt out. But then the Lord shifted my mindset. It was no longer "I have to, but now I get to." It changed my life. I'm working on a video of that now. I get to. Lord Bless ❤

In my 60s and still trying to learn to like mushrooms. No to raw for me too! Must be sautéed and a part of a slow cooked beef roast or I can’t do it! It’s a texture thing with me, so I cut them small.

Thank you for this encouraging message 😊. I pray your husband is all healed up and back to the laundry soon ! My husband was unwell last week and as he loves to do ironing (isn't it funny that sometimes men just enjoy certain chores !!), the ironing pile was growing, so I just got stuck in and did it. It made me appreciate him all the more. Many blessings to you ~ Linda

Nice video… That commitment to each other is often lacking in today's marriages. Oh and by the way… There's a compound found in raw mushrooms that you really shouldn't eat so mushrooms are actually better for you when they are cooked! And here's a fun little mushroom tid bit… if you place raw mushrooms out on a white cloth in the sun for an hour or two, they absorb a significant amount of vitamin D. That vitamin D doesn't go away when you cook them. You can look it up if you're curious... it is called sun soaking or sunbathing mushrooms. And they used to have that exact same washing machine I absolutely loved it! I have a regular machine now and I miss my little washer! And I always hang my clothes up to dry.

Can I add onions in my sourdough for onion bread? And which to use if I can, fresh onions or minced dry onions? And how much or does it matter in the finished result, I don't want to ruin my bread performance.
@TheRoseHomestead

Sure, I add chopped onions and have used dried onions. Both work well and adds a wonderful flavor to the bread. I always add about 1 cup of add ins to my bread if I'm using them.

Regarding mushrooms, Dr Joel Fuhrman says they need to be cooked. They are helpful for things like breast cancer prevention, but cooked, not raw. That's how I prefer them as well.

After watching this I contacted Nutri Mill and referenced your video. They are a very responsive company! Here is their reply: Thank you for reaching out! I just watched the video and saw it! That was very dirty in there. Unfortunately, that is still the design of the bowl! We do not recommend taking off that part because there is a gasket seal on it. If anyone is having trouble with the bowl leaking, we would be happy to help them if they contact us. As for the bowl, I will bring this up with my team so we can discuss it. Thank you for bringing this to my attention!

I love this recipe as well. I sometimes use whey leftover from making cheese in place of the water. For the wheat I’ll use hard white with some spelt. The blend creates a very good flavor. This recipe makes the best hamburger rolls. I make 12 rolls. The best 😊

As a young bride, married to a hard working farmer, I wish someone had told me the importance of taking over or at least helping him with his chores. I wasn't raised on a farm and really needed someone to help me see this relationship through God's eyes and through a farmers eyes. Always be ready and willing to do everything! Lifting your husband in prayer as well as for you to have the time and energy to get all that needs to be done, completed. We do the same, in respects to helping with each other in times of burdens and living a slower lifestyle. My washing machine has been a 1952 Maytag wringer washer for 20 yrs. now and we line dry year-round, if freezing cold (we are in MT) we have wooden drying racks around the wood cook stove. Our hens have been laying overtime, even with egg customers we are overloaded and make hard boiled eggs weekly as well as water glass three-gallon gallon jars full, in preparation for winters slow down, because we do not run a light but rather let our layers take the time off that they naturally would. Bread making truly is an art and I also enjoy tweaking recipes to fit our likes. With plenty of salad type greens in the garden eggs are very useful. Your channel has become a favorite, because it's like visiting a friend and sharing ideas, trials, blessings and such, thank you.
