😔I try to give local domesticated macaws a better life. But most are alone and seek human contact. I'm very upset with what humans have done and how hard some of us work to fix it while others continue. 😕

I live in New Zealand and I have a pet possum, this video is 100% accurate.

Somewhat 15 years ago I was staying in a hostel in Brisbane. A brushtail possum would fully open the window from the outside (slightly open before), steal a bag of cookies, open the bag and sit in the windowsill eating the cookies almost like a human, totally care free, like it was the most normal thing in the world. It was so adorable and certainly one the highlights during my travels throughout Australia.

Ryan Wilson's bond with Pebbles is very unique. He’s essentially her surrogate mom as he adopted and raised her alongside her brother BamBam at the @chipangaliwildlife Orphanage in Zimbabwe after they were found abandoned in a farmer’s field. They also clearly see him as their mother, as they won’t accept contact from other staff members except Ryan Wilson. It was amazing to see the care and love the Wilson family have for their rescued animals. These are wild animals, and believe me when I say - yes, I have spent quite a lot of time with them - that servals do not make great pets.

Would you let them crawl over your hand ?
@Thewidowpeak

@@MatthiasPav I don't make them but I frequently have widows come out of their enclosures while feeding and I will scoop them up and put them back. Of course I do not recommend that
@MatthiasPav
@MatthiasPav 3 ай бұрын
@@Thewidowpeak I feel like it's a common misconception that a spider will bite as soon as it touches human skin. Living creatures typically need a reason to expend energy. However, if a widow spider were to become startled or feel threatened and bite, which can happen, it wouldn't be your best day 😏
@MatthiasPav
@MatthiasPav 3 ай бұрын
But so you were never bitten by a widow? I do wonder what the pain must be🤔

JOHN 1:1-5 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
