I always just read drayden’s clan as a sort of Amish-eske group. Like a group that just thought it was unethical to hold pokemon in balls until a more recent era (either due to modern advancement or peer pressure) not that they didn’t exist, but in their village it wasn’t the norm.

I'm pretty sure there's a connectionl between pokemon mystery dungeon Explorers of Sky and Legends Arceus. Apart from the generic stuff, like pokemon going feral, there's a subplot about how Uxie might of been the person who wiped the memories of the main character. There's probably way more but that was just off the top of my head

Most "predictions" come purely based off how well you know the series. For people like yourself, me, and plenty of others you can make pretty on point guesses on what's to be next looking at previous patterns. Most of the people who are surprised by your accurate guesses are people who simply don't know enough or didn't consider for a second Pokemon obvious creation cycle

You just earned a sub. Within the first 20 minutes, you pointed out things I completely glossed over. I don't know how I didn't notice the pokeballs being made in the Galaxy Hall. The only critical thinking I applied to this game was recognising that the symbol we wear on our survey Corps uniform and branded on the Pokedex is the symbol for the survey corps; additionally, I thought Clover was origannly from the Ginko guild because of her clothes. Great stuff.

I watch this video because alot of the explanations of lore are such stretches and admitted to being theory crafting when Game freak ain't even trying to be that deep with it. Alot of the lore is either forgotten and or contradicted consistently and it's fine- It's not about not caring it's about pokemon's more involved lore not being well thought out. And it's fine I don't think its a hill to really die on, pokemon's team is filled with writers and programmers crunched to oblivion so I don't blame their lore for not being impressive- but I'm not gonna pretend it doesn't have issues in the vein of meeting it halfway; that's not honest. I rather tell a programmer their game has issues so they improve, not lie to them so they don't learn. But I'd make my own video if I listed all the issues- it's a fun thing to listen to and he does have some points, but alot of this is just.....conjecture.

Great video, the hisuian Pokémon have been confirmed to not be extinct. They were never officially stated to outright be extinct in the first place. The only time it has been said is in the non canon anime special that released before PLA released and calls them “forgotten” Pokémon. As well as Stantlers Scarlet Pokadex entry that mentions it used to have an evolution. We know PLA and SV were developed around the same time so it’s likely Wyrdeer wasn’t planned to be in SV yet since it was gonna debut in PLA. Plus the SV dlc straight up has Hisuian Pokémon in the wild. Perrin who is from Sinnoh straight up has Hisuian Growlithe her and mentions that Pokémon such as Ursaluna used to be more common when her home region was called Hisui, so she confirms that Ursaluna isn’t as common in modern Sinnoh but not extinct. In Gen 10 the hisuian cross gen evolutions will most likely be fully integrated into evolution lines just like any other cross gen evolution.
