On an 8V92 you'll always have a slight oil leak somewhere. That's the nature of the 8v series Detroits.

That sound reminds me of riding in new look fishbowls with my grandmother back in the day.

Love that old thing. Would love to get one similar when I retire from running these 18 wheelers to convert to a home.

37:00. Why waste time dismantling bad bearings. You can see from the onset that it's bad. New bearings and races... done deal. Where are the battery tools?

To show viewers how bad the hidden inner surface would be. It’s an informative video. Why complain so much?

It's never fun seeing forbidden glitter flowing out with the oil. Could you imagine the carnage if there wasn't a magnet at all...that one was definitely doing its job well. Seeing you fix other shops screwups for whatever reason sure is reassuring when i see these beasts rolling down the road. It just sucks for the owners with the money laid out and so forth. Thanks for doing all you guys do 🙂

Perhaps a hydraulic, three jaw, gear puller would work better gents!

In 1970, gold was $35 per oz and median income was $8730. In 2022 median income was $74,580. Gold is $2,363. Using gold as a reference of value 2363/35=67.5 times as much. $8730X67.5=$589,275 just to break even, The fake dollars are almost WORTHLESS, and the vehicle repairs are cheaper, in value, today.
