I did not like Mike at first. I thought he was making fun of people. Oh no, if anything, he was making fun of himself! I think jokes were just him making his amazement funny. I really think, he was dumbfounded in a good way, with what people would do to get the job done.

Mike Rowe saved alot of us kids who didn't do great in regular school, and had enough sense to not be conned into college debt when the economy had just completely fuxkin tanked. I graduated in 2010 and absolutely loved both shows. He showed alot of us you could make something of yourself and only have to figure out money for trade school. Many places will still help put you through trade school and have a guaranteed job. They still try to manipulate kids into college and make them feel like shit if you can't sit down, shut up, and remember the test questions. Many people still shit on us tradesmen but pay us lots of money when something actually needs to be done. Most of the trades are still in dire need of new young guys with the testicular fortitude to do what's needs doing. That's a whole other can of worms

Poor guy. You can’t help but feel sorry for him. He’s only worth 30-50 million dollars, all from Seinfeld.

To bad he didn't say "I would love to Come into the back door".

The humor the Ghoul Boys bring to their videos allowed me, a huge scaredy-cat, to really enjoy their ghost hunts for many years 😅

I still remember meeting Mike at Fort Jackson when I was in AIT when he was doing an episode on Vehicle recovery in the Army. He was a great guy, got an autograph too and he was telling me about his brother.

Dirty Jobs and Deadliest Catch were both a huge part of my childhood. Really gave me an appreciation for blue collar jobs and how vital of a role they play in everyone's lives.

What a fascinating podcast!! I had to laugh at Jason's introduction. I ordered The Quiet Zone and cannot wait to read it. This also has been a gentle reminder to me to be mindful of screentime. I am affected by this, for sure. I generally pull up Really? No. Really? and listen as i move about the home. I wrap phone in protective cover and carry it about in an old fashioned Fanny Pack. 😂😊 As for the chaos of too many items, so much of my clutter i discovered when minimizing was 23 books on de cluttering. I do like Ms. Kondo's method.
