That person who spent three days there and no paranormal activity or apparitions appeared doesn't mean it ain't true. I remember Ed Warren saying it's a game of patience and cause you want these to appear doesn't mean there gonna appear that's not how the paranormal works. 🤦♂️

The first two times I went out there didn't see anything. The third time I was out there with friends, we had some creepy stuff happen. The 3rd time I went out there was with my friend Will and his sister at 10pm on a summer night 8 years ago. Will and I had seen a ghostly white figure at the bridge by the railing. We were walking up to the bridge from the wooded part where the car was parked. His sister Melissa sat in the car. As we got closer to the bridge, we saw something standing there. We thought it was the sign to the bridge, but when we got closer- it took the shape of a person. When we got 20 feet from it, it just disappeared. Once at the bridge the sign would have not been able to be seen from the angle we were at when we were walking up earlier. While standing at the bridge, I asked if there was anything is out here, and if so- make yourself known. We both heard a tree branch snap above us. I asked it to do it again, and it did! This really freaked us out a little and went back to the car in a fast walk. When we get back to the car, his sister said she wanted to leave now, due to seeing these white orbs floating around the trees. She said she saw a light at the end of the road that kept appearing and disappearing. Since then I have been out that 3rd time, the road never seems to dissapoint- and something always seems to happen while am out there. On a side note, you should go investigate Paradise Road outside of Jefferson Wisconsin. I have stories to tell about that place as well. I love your videos, and just became a subscriber!

@@StrangeandSinister1 @StrangeandSinister1 You must do it! Yes I do. Paradise Road- Jefferson, Wisconsin. My friend Will and I drove down this road early evening and got out at the 1st part before the wooded section, and heard screaming coming out of the woods. We continued to drive down the rest and got to the edge of the treeline to the woods and heard what sounded like fingernails tapping on the roof of my car. Pulled the car over once we got into the woods and we both got out and nothing was there- but the tapping continued for another 15 seconds and then just stopped. There is a legend that three sisters that were witches and were hung in the trees. So maybe it was one of them doing the tapping. There is also the teacher that got three of her students to kill her husband out there.

@kjpphotography4764Күн бұрын
@@StrangeandSinister1 I am fine with you using my story, and I can back it up with my friend's testimony of that tapping on the roof. Oh, and on that screaming in the woods, we thought it might have been screaming goats in the area. But we never found any proof of that. Other than the tapping on the roof of my car (2007 Toyota Corolla S) and the screaming we heard, don't have any others for that road. I suggest you add the story on the teacher getting her students to murder her husband out there. I do have other ghostly stories of my parent's house on Hillside Road on my Pinterest account.

Thank you for another picturesque tour through an old cemetery, one with certainly a lot of history; the peaceful lake with sinister stories of many drownings, and the exceptionally well carved monuments and mausoleums. Always sad to see infant graves, and I can understand that although dismissed by the authorities. you could be forgiven for assuming it was a haunted place.

There was a German inscription on the monument which says "Der beste Freund ist in dem Himmel." In English: "The best friend is in the heaven." Interesting. Noone would say "...in DEM Himmel". I can probably debunk the bus accident story very easily. I live in this area of Illinois and we did have an event take place like this in Fox River Grove on October 25, 1995. When a Metra train collided with a school bus at a railroad crossing near U.S. Route 14. My brother lost a few friends in that accident. To this day, it's still a very well remembered event, and there is still a memorial erected at the railroad crossing. If an event like this took place on Munger Rd, there would have been news records of it occurring. It's worth noting, that accident is why school busses are now required to stop at each railroad crossing, and listen for nearby trains.

The ghosts and spirits in the tree tunnel predate 1994. I'm 55 years old, and every so often would go there at night with friends. The sounds of the trees and crops in the wind is kinda creepy, but never truly paranormal. At least through my eyes.

There used to a creepy abandoned house just off the road, it's since been torn down. I had some friends in high school who went into it late at night. They swore they heard voices and had mysterious scratches on their bodies under layers of clothing that shouldn't be there. Nonsense of course, but a fun story

I'm sure you found this similar story about a school bus in Illinois. This school bus was crossing the tracks and did not quite make it. The children in the back can see the train coming and they are yelling at the drive that the tail end was still on the tracks and...... you can guess the rest. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1995_Fox_River_Grove_bus%E2%80%93train_collision

Been down Munger Rd many times as a teenager in high school (Glenbard North) back in the day. There are more cars driving on it in your video than we ever saw. The isolation of Munger cannot be appreciated seeing it in a video. It is, as you point out, in the middle of a gigantic forest preserve in all directions and there is no where to turn off for miles. As I remember, there was a creepy old house near the tracks at one point. The famous Chicagoland ghost hunter, Richard Crowe, told stories about Munger Rd. on Eddie Schwartz show a couple times where he was a regular guest. Subbed. Keep up the good work!

The traffic on that road was surprisingly bad when I went there. I thought it was going to be a quiet railroad crossing but that wasn't the case. I read about the abandoned house next to the tracks. It was a party house for teenagers until it was bulldozed.
