I see you've shown both Remarkable and Supernote tablets in some of your recent videos. Now that you've used both for a while, do you have a preference for one or the other?

I think many expectations are just a wish list of many things that will not happen. Though I do not own a Remarkable device, the numerous expectations on software updates on the Remarkable 2 have not been so great and well received by users of this device. Its limited use fills a niche for those who want total minimalism, and I expect the Remarkable 3 will follow this idea. The Linux based software has some limitations, and it is uncertain at this point if the Remarkable 3 will follow suit or just go with Android, and that will be surely the end of the Remarkable 2 as far as updates are concerned. It is too early to say what their intentions are, and we will have to wait and see. I want to purchase this device but will wait to see what comes in the new iteration. I should have mentioned in the intro, a huge perk of these devices is also the respective phone/laptop apps. Forgot your e-ink tablet at home? No problem, you now have access to all of your notes in your pocket 📱

I have started using a low budget solution: Rocketbook. Obviously it feels really like paper because it is. The note organization, OCR, etc. is done on your computer and with the mobile application.

What about an optional folio with a built in low power LED light that can be folded above the full side edge of the Supernote. It could be powered via the pogo pins. This could give the functionality of a front light that is often seen as a major deficiency in the Supernote.

Tell me how to reduce its price?

I do like my Boox note 3 C. I’m at the point where I’m trying to figure out to keep it or figuring out how to do it on my iPad. On another note…Kit is very difficult to listen to..he rambles…hard to follow, but he does have a wealth of knowledge on e ink tablets.

I have a Tab X and it is my favorite device; and I've been an Apple fanboy for years. The main reason is simply eyestrain.

Great overview and comparison with other devices. Amazon has a sale again, so I ordered yesterday. I felt a little guilty when i looked over at my Kindle Oasis, as if i was cheating 😂 However, they're like 2 different devices, and the size difference will really benefit my eyes on the larger device.

My wish list for remarkable 3 is: 1. More thickness options for pen tools, right now we only have 3 thickness, I would like to have 5. 2. Much more good usable templates, why not also a calendar template that I can click on days, and take notes. Can be synced to PC/mac calendar. 3. More precise drawing. Sometime I have hard time to start drawing a line at a certain point, it start drawing abit to the side for some reason. 4. Better performance when open files, selecting drawing tools, and refresh of page (when blinking black). It's a delay. 5. Why not add a Template Creator. Where we can draw our own templates.

I feel like there wasn’t enough thoughtfulness in this design. I like the look of it, I like the internal memory. But for ergonomics and durability, I can’t see how this camera makes any sense. With the base of the thumb on the grip (because the upper half is touchscreen), reaching the shutter must be very uncomfortable, no? Wouldn’t a single drop on concrete from even 3ft high be devastating? I just don’t see any functional advantages here. Please convince me otherwise, I want to root for this.

Can pdfs be read like pdfs directly (as you would on an iPad), or does it appear kind of tailored so it feels much like a kindle ebook? If it is the latter, any chance the pdfs can be read as is?

The upgrade I kinda like from rM1 to rM2 is the "main" button has been placed out of the way. When writing on rM1 I kept pressing it by mistake, it was a bit annoying :) Great video, thanks! Do you know if reMarkable 2 can be connected to the screen in order to do online teaching via e.g. Zoom?

I am dying for someone to buy the Free Write Protector from Super Note and apply it to a Box device so that the ceramic nib pens could be used? Any interest in that experiment?

Even though it's more of an edge case as I don't deal with a ton of PDFs...I guess I should also mention that with the type folio and pencil style marker I will occasionally mark up changes with that too. I do find the eraser in that scenario to be quite useful on the rare cases I'm marking up a PDF.

There aren't a lot of videos on it other than the ones around the time of release and they all seem to be reviewed upon opening the box. With the updated drivers you mentioned, did you think the improvements you saw were due to the studio drivers specifically or because the gaming drivers were so outdated? It's interesting that you saw improved FPS in a few games. I ordered a used slim pro 9i off ebay for a pretty good price and was figuring on switching to gaming drivers. This laptop is hard to find for sale. Best Buy has them for 1399 today. Not a single 4060 I could find anywhere so I got 4050 on and I think that will be fine honestly. I mostly cloud game. uploading, marking up PDF spreadsheets on this is a dream for engineering. Being able to see the screen perfectly in the sun - wow, and how about that battery life. Yeah it's not an ipad or galaxy but that battery life - wow. Amazon needs to allow app developers to make stuff for the scribe. I don't think its full potential is being tapped.

Waiting on the Buds Pro 3 - hopefully they spend more money on the actual musicality of these buds, they have so much going for them with the Samsung Scalable Codec in the eco system, if they get them on par with the Denon sound signature they will have a real winner.
