I agree with the user that said: "One of the most clarifying, comprehensive, helpful, insightful videos I've seen on this topic. Really excellent." I started to get interested in AI only a few months ago when I saw a demo of that robot Sophia. Other than that I thought it was just marketing hype. Once I realized the backbone was neural nets then it all came together for me w/ the help of this video. Full disclosure - before I went another direction, I was a dissertation away from a PhD in Comp. Science. My other direction was benchmarking/performance engineering, which seems to be very applicable in the AI realm.

What a fantastic video. I love the presentation style. Your voice and way of being is very nice and soothing. You are a great teacher. I have started an AI education business for financial advisors and am creating courses and short info clips. Would you mind sharing how you did the automations. How you used the pen as the pointer? I understand that you did the drawings. They are great. I don't have that kind of talent. Any help you could give me would be great. I am creating a course to teach financial advisors what they specifically need to know about AI in the way they communicate with their clients and to enhance compliance and note taking. I want to use a Prezi or Miro type flyover. Thanks again for such a great video and would love to learn more from you.

Great video Henrik! I'd love to see a customer support agent AI coworker using near real time transcription to look up information from multiple sources via API.

Nice video, that summarizes genAI very well. Just some warnings for people public LLMs are dangerous, they can hallucinate information. You have Einstein in your basement. But he can make up anything, and people assume it's correct. While impressive, training is still very expensive and time consuming. The continuous training cycle will be key.

Is there something not explained about how things like erosion and PV is integrated? The statement that when erosion is high it leads to flat areas doesn't make sense to me if it's a naive addition on top of the other noises. Would it instead be a multiplication, with values < 1 so that it ends up greatly reducing the variation of the others and thus making it more flat? Or is there something I'm missing? Also, you show a few graphs of splines but don't show units. Do you have those posted anywhere else? Have you thought about posting the code that goes along with this so viewers can simulate and play with it? Thanks for the awesome video.

Hey man absolutely love the intention of this video AWESOME! Have a listen to how Geoffrey Hinton talks about that in his Oxford lecture a couple of months back. It's a short lecture, but it's very awesome and worth a look 🫶

Y'all, let's recognize and celebrate this individual's ability to clearly articulate and share this content in an engaging and impactful way! Approach include critical weaving and reinforcement of how important prompting is to build better overall communication skills and presentation of information. Amazing video, thank you!
Very happy to have access to such a fine introduction to Ai, and for free. The reason for seeing it is that my elementary school son is already using ai's software to have conversations and communicate with them, and it made me realize that I must admit that we are going to have to learn to coexist with ai's peacefully in the future, not to feel threatened, or to feel how awesome humans are. So learning it is the beginning of everything.

You describe computers as glorified calculators but the same is currently true of LLMs and AI. It's just operating on our language of imagery rather than numbers alone. A smart individual or group can output far greater value without generative AI than average minds who use it. Of course, it's better to use it for the same reason you use a computer in the first place. But this prompt engineering stuff, that comes with being smart. You focus on the challenges in life, your passion, your vision, your desperate needs, and you grow.
