Testosterone is important in both women and men but we really wanted to hit the role on prostate health and fertility. We will do another one on why women need healthy testosterone levels. Thanks!

I heard that chia seeds are better than flax seeds. Chia seeds have zinc and no estrogen hormone while flax seed have estrogen. Can you please reply to this comment? Thanks.

If youre a male you absolutely do NOT want yo lower DHT. Metabolites of DHT have been found to act as neurosteroids with their own AR-independent biological activity. 3α-Androstanediol is a potent positive allosteric modulator of the GABAA receptor, while 3β-androstanediol is a potent and selective agonist of the estrogen receptor (ER) subtype ERβ Yoire absolutely incorrect, elevated DHT fors NOT caise depression ots the exact opposite. You have zero lcue of what you're talking about. I suggest youbread stufoes bwfore govihg misinformation. Blockikg or lowwring DHT blunts Neurosteroids in which now tou have anxiety, depression, mental health disturbances, suicidal thoughts. Please tell people youre speakikg of women NOT men.

does decaf green tea have the same benefits as caffeinated? Also, regarding coffee, does decaffeinated coffee cause the same homocystein elevation? Thx!
@naturallynourishedRD
@naturallynourishedRD 19 күн бұрын
Decaffeinated green tea can have similar health benefits to regular green tea if it's made using a natural water process that removes only about 5% of its antioxidants. However, some say that the decaffeination process can remove water-soluble vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, so you might need to drink more decaf green tea to get the same health benefits as regular green tea. Caffeine is partly responsible for the homocysteine-raising effect of coffee. Coffee, but not caffeine, affects homocysteine metabolism within hours after intake.

This is good advice with real numbers. Salt is healthy. At one point I was told “you can drink too much water” so many times that I started intentionally drinking 2 gallons a day. Need to say I flushed my electrolytes and started having dangerous ECG results as well as mental confusion. I reduced water intake drastically and re mineralized my body with salts. Everything corrected. AVERAGES BP 96/60 Pulse 54

Took this test due to a study for IBS in my state that was conducted for three months. The yellow and red category foods shocked me. I cut down and cut them out. Changed my life. I can eat what I want without feeling malnourished, I can go out without worrying about what to eat, and enjoy my life not being in the bathroom for hours each week. I cut down on wheat, and cut out soybean/soy, asparagus, banana, maple, and a few others. Created new recipes and other foods I like and enjoy at home, and I don't eat out as much either but I'm not missing much with it. It's great to not have issues. I'll take that any day over going out to eat.

I don’t think these test are very accurate at all cuz the foods that make me feel sick, came out that it’s ok for me to eat and the foods that make me feel good, turned out to be foods for me to avoid🤦🏻‍♀️it said I pretty much says I should be vegan but also you can’t eat these other vegetables 😂😂 like WTF cuz even with chemicals as well and certain oils. For me canola oil and corn syrup make me feel really sick and it makes my skin all ugly cuz I’ll get pimples but in the mrt test it says it’s ok for me o.O like it all said I should avoid all animal protein except for eggs cuz eggs are ok for me to eat cuz that’s what the mrt says but in reality eggs give me headaches and it makes me nauseous and foods that I don’t eat at all came out that it’s bad for me and some that are good for me. So like tuna fish,and peaches are foods that taste yucky to me so I don’t eat it but apparently it says it’s bad for me but how would it even know cuz I don’t eat those foods. My functional medicine doctor was really upset how inaccurate the test was and just pretty much told me to eat animal protein in moderation cuz she was also surprised by the results. Like for example I’m lactose intolerant and it says it’s ok for me to eat dairy😂😂like hell no, I’m not going to eat dairy and have a shit attack💩💩💩

So im plant based... Always have been Ive swung on the pendulum (embarrsingly) from healthy plant based almost entirely green, free from processed and sugar etc... And of course.. ive experienced a high carb processed vegetarian (organic boxed process and super high carbs...sugar in coffee etc) Ive done cleanses like this in the past and honestly, it was life changing ! But if you dont maintain a healthy diet and lifestyle than...it goes down pretty quickly. Now theres doctors saying the best thing for sibo or candida overgrowth is a fully carnivore diet..😮 what are your thoughts on that ? What would you say is the biggest difference between a low fodmap or low histamine diet vs a candida ...? Should a person do the latter first and then move into another "elimination" diet protocol before going back to vegetarian or omnivore ? What are your thoughts on dr hymans "pegan" diet ? Lastly can I take your candida protocol supplements with other supplements such as glutamine, omega etc or is it an overload? Taking a lot of your time, sorry ! Very grateful that I have stumbled on your channel, and ive subscribed to your website :)

Hi, In regards to low FODMAP or low histamine vs. a Candida diet, our Beat the Bloat protocol has adaptations if needed for low FODMAP but it is often only necessary if also dealing with SIBO not for Candida alone. With this said our Beat the Bloat Bundle of supplements provides a thorough gut cleanse with compounds to not only kill of candida but to also address SIBO or even parasite! alimillerrd.com/products/beat-the-bloat-bundle

My dr is doing nothing, he wont even check my hormones or basic panels for liver... Even though I have very clear elevated eateogen...instead he wants to put me on a progesterone implant. My menses is completely normal, used to be very heavy and clotty but not any longer ...HOWEVER I have an estrogen migraine two days before my menses, and its truly the worst migraine type ive ever experienced. Completely debilitating, not reaponsive to oharmaceutical or natural therapies... up to 60 hrs of high elevated pain with vomiting and no ability to drink water /eat I dont have bowel issues but i do have chronic bloating and I know my microbiome is messed, been working on it. Outside of that, rapid weight gain even with no change in exercise or diet ...its just a crap shoot and I know im not supposed to feel this way. So im going to follow your detox and likely check out your products... But do you have any other insights

@@naturallynourishedRD so much easier said than done, I had to wait four years before getting a GP after my last one retired. In BC we have over 900k without a family Dr. It's a crisis.... But it also allows us to really begin natural healing and listening to our bodies, becoming our own advocate.. but it's hard.... However, super grateful for channels like yours, where you're offering a helping guide internationally. Do you treat Canadians ?

Please overlook my weird username. I just saw this video and it was really exciting. I was honestly hoping that you girls would gargle much longer than what you did on the video and you mentioned doing it for one minute. I honestly don't think either of you ladies have strong enough lungs to gargle for a whole minute without breath breaks but I would love to see you try it in another video. It seems like Becky can do this better then the other lady but I don't know for sure. I am hoping you ladies will eventually do another gargling video and hopefully you will attempt to do it much longer with one breath. I realize that this is a strange comment and request and I don't mean any offense by it. But I do hope you ladies will consider doing another video like this.

Wish you ladies mentioned how hormones fluctuate during peri-menopause. I always had normal to lower levels of estrogen. I had my hormones checked in January and my progesterone 11.9, estradiol 20.6 and FSH 23.3 and DHEA was 175 and in March progesterone dropped to 1.4, estradiol jumped to 360, FSH dropped to 2.3 and DHEA dropped to 135 (because she tested on the second day of my cycle vs day 21 like she did last time. My doctor suggested taking DIM, vitex and maca. In the morning, I always have warm lemon water with ACV. I also make a turmeric drink. I eat mainly plants, organic and exercise. Limit plastic. So, I was very surprised when she mentioned dominance.
