You wouldn't feed through an NG tube. That's for decompressing the SBO. Either way it needs to be advanced further.
@ImranLasker2 ай бұрын
I agree. Oddly enough though it’s a non con scan and when you look back at it there’s oral contrast stuck in distal oeso/goj which must have been fed through the tube. Dunno why they would go that. Anyway interesting case nonetheless
@333Santino3332 ай бұрын
I'm not seeing the oral contrast in the distsl oesophagus...just the coiled NGT tip. Maybe they tried some gastrograffin for the SBO and the patient instantly vomited it back up. Who knows. Yes great case. I've had a cracker case once of the same with it stuck at the distal ileum. Keep up the good work on YT. Enjoying the content.

Which teleradiology companies, if any, allow registrars to work for them?

Some of them do allow regs but it won’t be full reporting. Usually it’ll be along the lines of protocolling, or if you’re senior plain film reporting. I’m pretty sure everlight do the protocol bit

Hi, i have quick 3 part question please, Is it 5 years to become msk radiologist, and when you do can you do complex pain management like spinal injections etc Finally, whats the difference between msk radiologist and when people do a fellowship year? Thank you once again
@ImranLasker3 ай бұрын
It takes 5 years To become a radiologist, having done your foundation training. During that time, you can specialise in Msk Radiology. Depending on where you train or how are you organise your training you can pick up skills such as spinal injections. Adding a fellowship year usually helps for cv or if one feels like they want to do more in-depth/further training

Looks good - Is everlight classed as a clinic out there for you to be able to report? Hearing a lot of teleradiology companies need to set up as a healthcare facility / Clinic in order for their Radiologists to report in UAE /Dubai. Keen to know how they are operating so I can choose the right company that is the most compliant. Last thing I want is to end up in a Dubai police cell for reporting! 🤣
@ImranLasker6 ай бұрын
I’ve heard this too actually. My recent conversation has been that they are incorporating but it might be worth checking with them directly. I skills do a video on this topic actually
@freddielaker34946 ай бұрын
@@ImranLasker Ah I see, so if they are now in the process of incorporating, it looks like Everlight are operating in Dubai with their reporters not adhering to the countries compliance. This could be quite risky as I fell it would land on the reporter, not Everlight, if caught. I have heard Medica will have a live and compliant facility up and running by march so I think I will go with them once they are operating. Look forward to seeing your next video on the UAE compliance
