I think you can have all of those beneficial qualities without being a narcissist, you might just have to work a bit on yourself to get them.

As a Gen Xer, I always knew that I liked Gen Z and felt for the Millennials - and this skit shows why! I mean we were told we were useless as well. Hence the word "slacker" gaining traction at that time. We were told we would never do anything as cool as the people older than us and literally left to go play in the woods. (I owned a machete by the time I was 16.) I am hoping, and trying to help as best I can, to make things better for you youngins. Rooting for you!

Leave us out of it. By us I mean Gen X, you need us broken, you need us to stay in the trauma. When you break the system and you will, it will be us that keep you alive to rebuild. Trust me, a lot of you will perish in this endeavor as no civilizations collapse comes with out its dead but it is us, the Gen X that survived into adulthood that will save as many as we can so the species doesn't go extinct. We hope what you build will be better but we doubt it. In the end you will face the reality of human nature as those who built this did. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Good luck and WOLVARINES

Gen Z in this skit: In your generation, they actually needed to have ridiculous PSA’s about being nice to your kids… Also Gen Z in this skit: You grew up in a hopeful time. My whole family’s super toxic and I was raised by gang-fighting raccoons fighting over scraps of trash in an alley. 🤔🤭😂

As a guy, I really appreciate your honesty. I rarely date because of the little games that men are supposed to understand and put up with. Why can't we all just be honest with each other?

I'm so sorry you have experienced this level of depression, I empathize as I have been there many times, usually I fall into catatonic states during that time, I think it's my body's way of preventing me from doing anything. Take time to walk in nature silently, calmly and just without any goal other than to be alive and be connected to the world around you in it's peace and tranquility. I think you are amazing, funny, talented, kind, generous with your knowledge and self-exploration, so keep being you, and keep seeking peaceful places and spaces to be open and happy in. Much love ❤❤

Gen Z are the way they are because Millennials have been terrible parents.
@stupidusername333310 сағат бұрын
Boomers were so messed up and cold as parents because they grew up with fathers coming back from WW2 with loads of trauma to the “ideallic” 50’s where everything had to be perfect no no one talked about their nightmares, they just drank and beat their families. No wonder why so many serial killers popped up in the 70’s and the 80’s.

Never having heard of 2008 is inaccurate. It had repercussions the following years especially in different countries so gen Z could have been 8-12 at that time and really felt it too. i think. I know I felt it in 2008 and I was 10

This doesn’t really resonate with me. I'm a millennial (in my eraly 30s) but have the work culture mentality of gen z (according to this) and have for many years. Most of the people I know im my age group feel similarly.

I think the real problem is that capitalism HASN'T been maintained properly by the government, including punishing companies for threatening shareholder value short-term. Along with corruption it has ended up encouraging exploitation over competition and left a lot companies alive and doing things they quite frankly shouldn't.
