Damn how did I miss this

I have a VERY EXPENSIVE Mini 2 drone. got it new not to have battery troubles. bought the fly more pack not to have battery troubles. I only use original batteries not to have battery troubles. And now there are lots of details to take care??? - If DJI says you should not charge the battery 100% why there isnt this function on the ORIGINAL charger? - If I gotta discharge the battery to 50% to store for long periods, why the ORIGINAL charger does not have this function? I could keep writting for ages. in suma: there is no way I can do most of the things you said with original DJI gear. And if DJI says I GOTTA DO these things without being supported by the devices, the company is killing their own products on purpose. Did I heard "Civil class action"? :/

Auto white balance has definitely caused me problems in the past and has made the video unusable. I use the "hack" of using auto at first when you start the flight, and then turn it to manual so that it doesn't change.

Thank you, Ted! True. If you try to help the drone by lifting it up the drone may counter the move like an up draft of wind. This happened to me (on this Christmas day) with my Mini 3 Pro and yes it did... a prop cut my thumb. So, be careful. Cheers, Brendan

Thank you. I'm so tired of hearing about ND filters. It might be important in southern regions with intense sun, but many of us are fine with EV settings, and photography at mid-day sucks anyway, as you have just explained.

Really good stuff, Ted. I love my Mini 4 Pro and prefer it over my Mini 3 Pro -- primarily for the increased obstacle avoidance for piece of mind when flying at extremes of LOS. I absolutely love the scenes (3:08) you shot of you cruising down the lit roadway. Also appreciate you doing the saved route to capture the transition from day to night at 4:48.

I agree the 4 pro isn't enough of an upgrade over the 3 pro. Waypoints and cruise control being the two things I'd care about. I hope the 5 gives us brighter flashing lights for night flying rules.

Mini 5 Pro - what???? Where can I get one LOL...

Who cares about the Mini 5 Pro. The 4 Pro is a terrific drone. It's just that our politicians (I'm a citizen of the European Union) are really limiting the sites where we can fly our drone without having problems. Anyway, as far as your video edit is concerned: to my liking, this so-called cinematic greenish post-process look makes one look... unreal. Sorry, no offence meant... but it's not real. It's not even 'artful'. As a photographer, I prefer true and natural colours. No fancy lut that gets applied... And in this video, I actually prefer the mini 3 pro's night mode result to the mini 4 pro's one, which I think is a wee bit overexposed. But hey, all this is just my 2 cents...

Ted you are so on the money. You have such a creative, eye. I'm the same way. But also with Audio.. Yes! You used digital zoom. To reduce, the resolution ever so slightly. Differently from a soft focus effect filter. Which tends to obscure. A little too much. It's the same with Audio. Entry-level college-educated engineers. All think they need microphones that are ultra sensitive and 20-20,000 Hz response. Nope! It's good to use microphones that are not as broad banded. That rolloff some of the extremely low end. Rolloff some of the extremely high end. Hand provide its own filtering. Without the need of filters. By a very small amount of bandwidth limiting. And to get that more Nostalgic, older, 1940s radio broadcasts sound. Of those golden toned, announcers. We don't hear that anymore. Now everybody sounds crispy fried! Ugh! And few people use Velocity a.k.a. Ribbon Microphones, like we used to. That sounds super Lush. But blowout in a wind. And should never really be used outdoors. Though the original ones were. While those RCA Ribbon Microphones were owned by, RCA Radio called NBC. RCA microphones were NBC microphones. They were made by RCA who owned NBC. And are one in the same. But you would never know that today. As nobody knows what an NBC or an RCA even is anymore? And our History is being Lost. In Real Time. Because nobody wants to be Woke! Being knowledgeable and informed is bad! Being ignorant Rules! Everybody wants to be Ignorant just like Donnie! Huzzah! Just like Donnie.. A Dope. A Supreme Lamebrain! A Superior Moron! Goodaye Ted , Up until recently I had a mini 3 pro which was great just using a cpl filter , nice and clear. Sadly crashed it . Bought a mini 4 pro. Is it me or is the camera just to sharp and contrasted compared to the old mini 3 pro ? Nice video , good effect .

Air 3 batteries are Lithium Ion not Lithium Polymer and they have a smart auto discharge feature if not used for 9 days they auto discharge to 60%

Love your videos and ideas in your drone shots. I do want to tell you, I lived in NYC until I left for college to Florida, I’m glad I left. NYC is a beautiful place with respect to an artist and photographer’s point of view. So much to view and observed with all the interesting creative graffiti and building structures, both new and old. Give me the beach brother, that has been my zen. Thank you for your outstanding videos, you are able to show NYC at a different and beautiful prospective with drone videography. I've had the Mini 2, 3, and 4 Pro. What I love most about the Mini 4 Pro is the improved range with the RC2 controller, the 360 degree OA, and waypoints.
