It’s not like the wind doesn’t carry pesticides/herbicides/dioxins to the fields marked “organic”. If you’re that concerned, grow your own/shop local, but I totally agree here. It’s marketing BS. It’s like when companies label things like oats as “gluten free” when they never contained gluten to begin with.

Would this apply to being off the weights for a period of time? 8 months

Pretty much spot on. One cheat day ruins the whole week of déficit and you end up just in maintenance. I would say it is easier to stick to cheat meals a day (provided you run a deficit) than cheat days. It is the worst idea

Cookie, ice cream and pizza. Are high in sugar. Rice bread pasta etc are high in carbs. Which which becomes Glucose in the body. I know this with certainty because I could physically see the difference in blood sugar levels. Insulin is released to force glucose into cells for energy or storage (fat) if not needed. There was a time I couldn’t even look at sugar or carbs without a blood spike High levels of insulin in the blood force glucose into cells and keeps it there so it’s harder for the body to access it for energy. I was surprised to find out I was walking around with 300+ blood sugar levels. Had to learn how to eat and how food works on my body. I am even dropping below that 30 percent body fat levels that I carried most my life. This is why I disagree with so many points in this video.

Do you know if ACTN3 RR has an effect on building muscle for guys in their 40's? I'm 48 now, half way to 49, am ACTN3 RR and my body responds really well to weight/strength training and even conditioning. Before I knew any of this, my friends would tell me that if I got onto Vitamin S, I would be a mass monster (I'm not on the juice though because I'm on thyroid hormones thanks to the thyroidectomy). The reason I ask is because in the world of youtube health and fitness advice, I keep running into people saying things like "Building muscle over 40", "You can't build muscle over 40", "If you're over 40, give up already, ya idiot" and the like.

Just quit the alcohol. It’s not doing you any good. I’ve not drank in 2yrs and don’t miss it either. I think most people drink to ignore the problems in their life instead of dealing with them.

Processed honey often gets superheated and loses a lot of its nutritional value and some companies fill it with corn syrup. You should only buy 100% pure bees honey

Has RP and the doc done anything on pause reps? I'm wondering if a 2 second pause squat for 5 reps is going to have a similar effect as 10 reps when both exercises require the same perceived effort? I like the pause squat because I'm slow to brace, and so it reduces the time of the exercise, whilst also feeling safer because I'm not bracing poorly due to the exercise being less monotonous.
