Yes, put the pastic up, start earlier in the day, allow 4 hours of dry time between coats, and I applied two coats of paint so the door could be closed and home secured at night. Let me know if you have any other questions and thanks for watching.

I cut and used plexiglass to cover the hole in the headlight and secured the Halo lights to the plexiglass. 👍

Hey Dan, thanks for making such an informative video and including the product links. I followed your directions pretty much to the letter, and I was able to complete my own crosscut sled. The only thing I changed was to add a 24-inch section of T track along the top of the front fence that includes a fence flip stop. I really appreciate the time you took to make and post this video!

@@scotlawrence3231 Awesome, this will work out very well without having to deal with shrinking and expanding with wood runners. I find myself using a cross cut sled a LOT. Another useful jig is the taper/straight line jig. Check it out on the playlist if you haven’t yet. 👍

My favorite way to cut pvc pipe is with a miter saw. The only thing is that I have to dig it out of the back of the garage to use it. I use a 2" pvc pipe cutter that cuts clean. Great video, thank you for the info.

To replace the assembly take a flat head screwdriver and pry the housing out of the door. Slide the new one back in the door and use something like a scrap piece of wood and rubber mallet on top of the assembly to seat it fully into the door by carefully hitting it downwards. Then you can make small adjustments as shown in the video. 👍

Excellent video, wish I had watched this first. Still made my setup easier watching it as I was trying to do it. My only complaint, not with video is Dewalt, my packaging was different(no styrofoam) and I'm missing wrenches and found out the gear rod was bent, so have to buy the wrenches and replace the gear rod.

Like squirrels, I imagine for every vole you get rid of, three more return. They have destroyed my grass and trying for my roses. I am trying castor oil and dawn to drive them out. If it ain't voles, or chinch bugs, or fungus, or dollar weeds, or crab grass, or nutsedge or..... I think i will go natural. Getting tired of spending a fortune when my neighbors all have dried up weeds and bahia grass anyway. 😅

Great video, very helpful. With a digital gauge I've noticed some inconsistency that seems to be slop with my fence. I belive it may be causing snipe at the end of some cuts. I square the fence with a gauge on the miter slot within .0001, and a few cuts later it seems out again. Minor amounts but enough to bug me. I like how you explain checking for a the squareness of the fence to the table, but don't mention adjustment (because there isn't any simple way to adjust it that im aware of), which I think it would benefit from). My fence is not square. The top of the fence is closer to the blade than the bottom of the fence. Is there a solution for this issue?

Thank you for watching Ricky. With the issue you mention that is one design flaw with this table saw. If it’s with intolerance I personally would not recommend to mess with it. There are methods people have tried such as with spacers, but I would only go that route if absolutely necessary.

I’m confused about the permanent bond for the check valve. If you have to replace the check valve, then what? Do you have to get all new pvc piping for the whole setup? Is it okay to not use cement?

Thanks for watching. You can simple unscrew the check valve and replace it when needed. The PVC piping either needs bonded with primer and cement or you can use a PVC coupler that is super easy if you prefer. A 2 pack right now is less than $10. Let me know if that helps. amzn.to/44z3QpS
