@UmiCeramicsСағат бұрын
Hola!

This is truly so soothing to watch, sit down and relax and watching what kind of magic you can create :) I have been a fan of ceramics myself and was thinking about giving it a shot from time to time, but will see :) thank you for sharing these videos with us and keep up the lovely work. All the best to you.

@UmiCeramics14 күн бұрын

Is there any difference vs having the bottom cover the whole cross-section and then sticking side walls on top of it? Cause that's how I've been taught to make cups.
@UmiCeramics14 күн бұрын
Hello! The only difference (sticking the walls on top of the base) is that the cup could be more fragile, and during a strong impact the base could come off. It is very rare for something like this to happen, since this slip joining technique gives very resistant results, but I have seen it before!

Is that water with the sponge on the secomd step? And is it better not to wet the clay when forming the shape?

Hi, yes, it's a slightly damp sponge, there is no problem in moistening the clay at this stage, but not too much!

@UmiCeramicsАй бұрын
Hola!
