Don Powell is the original drummer with the start up of Eddie D and the Blues xpress and American Xpress and did this along with many other songs. This is Don Powell on this soundtrack and goes way back the the beginning of it all. Most started out on Dixie Highway, Halfway House, Dixie Lounge, Say When, Three Bells and so many other places and so many memories.... Where are we now???? Really miss Eddie and all the gang.

So nice to hear from you, Don. Thanks for clarifying the band's roster; I pieced it together the best I could with what I found on the web. Anytime I put together a film review, if there's a band -- especially an unsung one, such as yourselves, I feel it's just as important to not only honor the film, but the band(s) that appear in the films (either by soundtrack or physical appearance in it). If possible, ripping the songs out of the film to enhance the reviews, is an important part of the presentation. Many regional filmmakers, such as WIlliam Girdler, always used local talents, even when it comes to the music in their films.

Thank You so much for your interest and hard work bringing Kim to the world. I'll talk more in depth at a later time. I do have a recorded performance of 7th Heaven which as you probably suspect is in extremely bad condition. Thanks again
