However, everyone prefers to watch videos of those who are adventurous and skilled enough to safely sail the oceans. As a skilled and lovable but geriatric blue water solo sailor, Barry is in a class of his own!

Seadog, you are a great guy, and I treasure your vids, but truth be told, I would not own a steel boat unless it were made of high-grade stainless steel, and as much as I'd love to have a sailboat, I would not want yours. More trouble than a cranky woman.

Chances are you will never see this post, but let's give it a try. A video has been recommended to me by KZfaq. A "flopper stopper". A "device" to stop the boat from rolling around at anchor. It's just a flexible bucket tied with a rope to the jib pole and left to hang over board, deep in the water. Should maybe help with those nights at anchor.
