but with the bigger woofer. how much detail is lost in the bass. teslas have very tight and punchy bass. how much of that do you lose. is it even an improvement after all of that?

Can you patch this in using a complete factory system including stock speakers? Can it be tuned to cut off volume to when the speakers start to distort? Are there adjustable gains or does it just do that automatically?

There’s an entire generation of younger crowd that wish we could enjoy the same effects previous Alpines had such as the Alpine ERA dsp … please create an update for our Halo head units.

I have an aftermarket setup but I wanted to improve sound quality. I bought the Optim 6. I am running a PDX amp to some Hertz PDK speakers and now I can finally hear how good my speakers are. I thought maybe the speakers were not as good as advertised. This thing fixed all of my SQ problems. You can dial your sound in to what you like and the processor takes all the noise out.

I have 1 question as for the poly cushions would it be better to put a hole in the right center toward the wiring of them so you can feed the wire through so the cushion speads out better and flatter ? Hey there alpine . So I’m actually building a system for my 3rd gen Prius and looking at the R series. So I would assume the 4 channel amp R2-A60F Would pair great with the 6x9 R2-S69C And the 6.5 R2-S65C ?? And even tho if the amp does output more than the rated RMS that will not hurt the speakers themselves? I’m new too this but pretty interested in building a system with this set up and just wondering if it’s all compatible. Thank youall for your time and have a great day!

hey AlpineTv i want to buy your R2 series bundle that comes with a pair of component 6x9 (+ pair of tweets) and pair of component 6.5 ( + pair of midrange and pair of tweets). My question is if the Alpine R2 4 channel amp would smoothly support all these speakers. The 6.5 component comes with a cross over (connecting one 6.5, mid, and tweet) i assume to one channel and the other half of the pair to an additional cross over, again assuming supported by one channel ( the two crossovers getting an individual channel to itself). And the remaining two channels, connecting one 6x9 and its component tweet to one and the other half of the pair to the last channel. Would your alpine R2 amp support these speakers. Please reach out as i don’t want to ruin these expensive speakers or amp.

I used to have many Alpine products in the mid 90s, Alpine CD players, alarm, amps, and speakers. When Alpine products were made in Japan. I decided to upgrade to the triple disc fold down CD player in 98, that thing was a nightmare, the cartridge would get stuck, and it skipped whenever I went over a bump. One day while driving on the freeway, and the cartridge didn't eject, I yanked the whole unit out of my center console and tossed it out the window. Haven't had an Alpine product since. Came to find out later, the stereo shop that sold me the unit said they had many complaints ever since Alpine started their production in chyna lol.
