Hey mike i just got the score in the mail today and i gotta say using any lf the multi modes im gettin a scratchy sound to the tones ive tried to adjust the machine and noise cancel when i use single 15hrz its sounds awesome nice and crisp or the beach mode with its own multi frequency same thing sounds awesome any thoughts ?

Concerning the Xp Deus 2, it seems in my tests and observations that the 13 inch coil does better in heavy iron. I can't figure out exactly why. I need to research this more.

I have 2 919 Aquarobo. I have had really good luck with mine and Aquarobo has good customer service. I have used mine in the local mine pits and believe it or not been to 65 ft for prolonged times. Never ran the battery out yet. You can run it with two divers at 30 ft and get inflation hookups for BCDs. Ive used it in cold water as well with no freeze ups. Im a certified scuba diver and I often use it for shallow dives with no overhead obstacles so I can stay down longer. I use a dive computer and redundant air as I feel its needed. Under 30 ft I don't feel it is. Aquarobo also sells different hoses for these. I have also put better scuba aqua lung regulators on my hoses. Filters are easy to clean. Can't say much bad about mine,

For me, I really appreciate and enjoy the nice fluty tones of Minelab detectors because I find it far less jarring and stressful sounding than the other two detectors.

Will the Pulse Dive pin pointer pair with this machine like the Simplex?

I wish the companies would be more innovative instead of imitating what the competition does. They do have innovative features but the major features are monkey see monkey do. How about being able to use completely different tones? Like orchestra mode. You get classical instrument sounds for tones. Or mettalica mode. Rock and roll tones. Bird mode sounds from birds. 😆 and damnit, they need to figure out a elemental detector. That can tell you elements and alloys, not guess. It must be possible.

Thank you for this video it was a HUGE help. Especially since I was considering the air buddy. The idea of supporting dual divers sounded helpful but hearing your experience makes me shy away from it. I work with a non profit clearing hazards from area waterways. Recently we removed a piece of rebar that likely came from a construction site. It was lodged in a water feature making a dangerous hazard for paddlers. Thankfully we got it out. However it would have been tricky had we needed to cut it because it was below snorkel depth. We were considering scuba but seeing systems like these are intriguing as they look to be ideal for our work. we are rarely below 20 feet and often kayak into sites so needs to be portable. Really appreciate the video.

I've been wanting to buy a GTI 2000 but I can't find one.

I use a a Nox 600/800 and find my chains and earring studs at 2-3 and small gold rings/pendants at 5-6. My Simplex couldn't see most of those targets, how does the Triple score do? thanks.

How would you say this compares to the equinox series? im torn between a 700 or Nokta legend

The YATEGOOD G1 is the same thing for 1/5 of the cost.

This is to show what a newer processor will do.....the processor in the Xterra elite is the same as the Manticore. Not the 700/900 Equinox series....so in a way the Elite is a "mini" Manticore. I have the Xterra Elite and the had the Manticore they are both equal to depth on the beach. Testing the D2 against the Xterra Elite I haven't found a target yet the Elite will not pick up depth wise. Now the D2 will hit on gold open earrings better than the Elite. But its all about the processor and software that will win the game here. XP probably has something coming down the road that will be mind blowing. Probably just a head unit that is little bigger than the one we have now on the D2 with a color screen all you have to do is put in your current coil numbers and go hunting.....

I'm torn?? Both are exceptional machines! If you had to choose which way would you go?

How does the Legend perform on lvl 5 similiar to the Triple Score? I do like the menu layout on the Triple Score better of course alot of the settings we have on the Legend were an after thought and added during updates which IMO make navigating not so great. I'm not 100% happy with the Legend but I just haven't found anything that much better yet. Curious to see how the VX9 performs I will be really blown away if it can pass lvl 4 out of the box without any updates. Coming from using the V3i I really like the VX spectrograph / 3 tier display. I hope it works as well as advertised.

Great test Mike, what a job Nokta and Minelab did on these budget machines. I don't believe you could get the Xp to come close to hitting those targets that these machines did at a 1/3 of the cost for the Xp😂😂😂

Incredible , This is a good look at someone that knows how to use the machine can do. It’s funny because I see a lot buy them and go out one or two times and just put it in the closet .

Nice work Iffy. Sure makes it hard to decide. The small icons on the noktas and the fact they wont make a 6" coil has me staying with minelab.

The Triple Score and the X-Terra Elite look equal with unmasking, I will decide after the go head to head in the depth test. I don’t need all the refinements the Legend or Equinox have, I want simplicity. Great video

Nokta newer better waterproof technology, go with Nokta.
