I remember seeing these at the gun show probably 20 years ago. I think they were selling for $200 to $250. I was tempted but finding ammo for it would have been nearly impossible so I passed. Cool rifle though!

Now the Army has outsourced all of it's bad small-arms decisions directly to SIG corporate. And Springfield still manufactures trash, just privately.

Forward assist has plenty of use for when the weapon: isn't properly charged, isn't properly lubricated, has had 15,000 rounds + 200 times as many cycles worth of dry fires through it without a new spring, and any other time it fails to go into battery especially when reloading, not in the middle of a string of fire. You could say something retarded like "but just use it correctly" and you would be right, but if everything just always went perfectly all the time you would never need to shoot in the first place. So that's dumb. Sometimes the solution is to a human problem, not an engineering problem. Instead of losing a round because you MUST charge it if you don't have an FA, simply smacking it once will solve this problem, and I have heard dozens of *clicks* on issued rifles from people who failed to do exactly this after loading a magazine (into a rifle that was acquired before their father graduated high school). People with brand new rifles might not need it but the idea that it is a detriment in any way is only justified when the forward assist breaks, which I have only ever seen once. Otherwise it only adds value, and nerds hate it for basically no reason. Awesome video. EDIT: 3 round burst was a legitimately terrible idea and implementation, which gave the weapon 3 different trigger pulls in order to add a capability that is never used.

The M1917 rifle is what Sgt York used when he performed his fete that he was awarded the metal of honor for. It's actually a better rifle due to the improved sights.

I got a Rossi 92 .44 mag in nov. 2023 and I took it out to shoot and noticed the front sight and rear sight were not in line. Turns out the dovetail cuts were not cut on the same plane. I called Rossi and they agreed that it was a manufacturing defect and agreed to fix it. (Replace the barrel maybe)Turns out they don’t fix R92’s anymore. They referred me to Their parent company, Heritage mfg. to replace it with their version of the R92 the“92 black”. That was 6 weeks ago and I have to pay FFL fee for a gun dealer in my town to receive it for me. No more Rossi products for me.

❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ ❤. . ❤️ I went on my bike for a Sunday exorcize ride, bicycle, now I'm a German freak plus allied, this garage sale had nothing but teddy bears and terrible furniture. I was about to leave and his wife said see anything, I said unless you have a German anything from WW2 under teddy yea. Hold on , hubby comes out, brings me in celker, his poo was a navy man on destroyer who was lucky enough to bord a sinking sub, grabbed papers and my gem, boot blows up while he's paddling to shop in high sews, the dusty wooden box with lifeaffen eagle on top was a pristine sexton with all paper work moon and sun location all sorts of stuff of u 405, I'm looking saying must want at least a grand, he said his pop never ever talked bought it we just never went in his area in celker. He asked what you think, I'm bad with good people, very kind kin, told them truth, they talked said we dont want it around us, I said well I have $300- in my bank, follow me down I take it. Sir, my buddy looked at it, he said the history alone was huge so you are correct!!!!!! It yet to happen again, I pick up ALOT of nam stuff but WW2 go way side with elderly widows they rob them so my friend is that feeling not nuts, or is it

I just ruined my barrel. I was shooting, made a big Flash, checked that out, and saw nothing shot 100 rounds when home to clean it. I noticed a bulge on the barrel. This thing was like brand new. And I was shooting decent ammo Stella Bella😅

If I had to KEEP it, I would not give a dime for any gun other than duplicates of the 4 that I have and I'd not pay more than say, $200 each for those duplicates (altho their average price is $1000. I'm old and dont expect to wear out any of them. There's nothing that needs to be don (with a gun) e that my 4 guns cant do. 3 single stack autopistols, 2 of them are pocket autos.. A belt 9mm trainer, and a shorty silenced AR in 223, with a 22lr conversion unit. If y ou want sa hunting rifle, you're WAY ahead to use a Remington or Browning autorifle, for $500-$700
