Hello. I have a 2010 Altima and I live in South Florida. Altought I put one sun shield on the dashboard and another one behind it, my dashboard starts cracking. It’s still flexible and does not feel rigid but still cracking. Do you think I can protect it from cracking if I apply silicon spray or vaselin on it? If not, what do you recommend? TY

I love the way you detail. your videos are really thorough. But please use gloves. what's on you is in you. you can get serious health problems because of that.

Great job, Tom!! Are you anywhere close to DFW area? I wish I had the energy to do this to my '87 Porsche 944T or 2016 VW GTI, but it's time to sell the 944 and maybe even the GTI.

@@TomDoesDetails GTI is just under 80k miles. It is an automatic, white exterior with sport package, including plaid seats. I had a stage 1 upgrade to the brain, which gets a lot more boost and needs 93 octane. I don't race it though, just enjoy the extra power when I need it. My '02 had been upgraded before I bought it with Revo software, larger turbo and stiffer sway bar. Wish I still had it but the trans was on its way out!

You missed the barrels of the wheels. They sell 6”, 8” microfiber brushes, to get the barrels. 😮

Yes I do. Sometimes I will clay the car using the car soap as lubricant and then need to re rinse

Washing the car on private property is prohibited in Germany. Cleaning agents dissolve oil and other residues from the car, which seep into the groundwater. Many cleaning agents are also hazardous themselves.
